Cornel Clyd Reviews

Thank you to the owners of Cornel Clyd because we had a very comfortable and relaxing stay in this spacious cottage and would definitely choose to stay there again if we came back to North Wales. It provided everything we needed including two very comfortable sofas, ideal for relaxing after a days exploring, and a lovely bathroom. We also enjoyed the farm setting and surrounding countryside. Its a beautiful part of the country within easy reach of the coast and ideal for touring.

The property is lovely and situated on a quiet farm we felt the listing did not sell the property as much as it could in terms of location we were pleasantly surprised with how lovely the setting is! Easy check in and communication with owner. The kids loved the store cupboard with the communal games. Spacious property we werent really cooking much but if you were the kitchen is lacking items and not sure there are enough glasses for the number of people in the property. Would recommend and we will hopefully be back!
Loved this cottage. Lindsay was always quick to help with any questions and replaced a missing TV remote immediately. Loved the area as well. Four nights was not enough.
Robert
A really lovely stay with a useful information book provided. A couple of points that would have made it A are dusting of cobwebs in most rooms. I appreciate it is countryside but there were a few really obvious ones. The indication on the hob has rubbed off so it is trial and error to get the right one and temperature. I was very happy and impressed with the speed of response to the blocked shower drain, thanks.
Such a lovely property and great base to explore from
Lovely place, lovely people. Beautiful working farm in a beautiful place. Huge floods in Wales on our last day but we were given a tractor ride by the owners to enable us to have an amazing last day. We definitely will be going back. Jason, Leah, Jude Elijah and Jesse x

The property was beautiful and a lovely get away from daily life. Everything we needed as a young family was provided and the children really enjoyed coming home each night to a lovely place to stay. Looking for a place suitable for us all and this hit the nail on the head, beautiful surroundings and helpful owners.
Fantastic place to stay. Couldnt wish for more.
WE HAD A VERY ENJOYABLE STAY IN CORNEL CLYD . A LOVELY RURAL LOCATION. THE PROPERTY HAD EVERY THING WE NEEDED.
This is a fantastic place to stay, location is great, property clean and spacious. Would definitely stay again and recommend.
An absolutely lovely cottage to stay in which was perfect for our time in Abergele. Would definitely return
Crumbs on kitchen work tops, behind microwave and toaster. Extractor fan above shower full of fluff. Bathroom sink very slow to empty. Toffee wrapper on bedroom floor. Eggs in welcome basket 2 weeks out of date. No bread knife, potato peeler or scissors. No fire blanket in kitchen and fire extinguisher hidden in the stairs cupboard.
Great location and charming cottage. The children loved Eric the horse.
We had a lovely week some reviews said about the carvan site opposite was noise but we never heard a thing it was so quite and peaceful ,owners was about if need any think, would definitely return again.
Location excellent, on the farm in the heart of the countryside! ! Very clean and well appointed with the open plan living space working really well. Very friendly welcome from all. Super stay and will definitely return.
Family run business next to the family farm and a camp site. Granddaughter and Granddad checked up on us regularly to make sure we were comfortable. Very quiet at night. We loved the welcome basket with gooddies that awaited us on arrival. Nice personal touch.

A great spot to explore North Wales, loved being on the farm and the friendly farmer! The owners were friendly and accommodating. The cottage was clean and comfortable, the only thing missing was a frying pan! Sitting outside in the evening was just beautiful, the sun hits the front then. We definitely would return!
Candace
I'm quite a fussy person when it comes to holiday accommodation, but this place exceeded all my expectations! Lovely place to stay, cottage was full of character, clean, well maintained, warm and tasteful decorated. The owners were very helpful. We would most definitely stay again!
A lovely converted stables. Kids loved being able to feed the horses every morning on the far
Carole
No mention in the description of the 30 pitch caravan and camping site adjacent to the cottage which is noisy in the eveningsmorning. Had we known about this we would NOT have chosen this cottage.
Nicola
The parking on arrival is good and the row of four cottages look very pretty. There is a campsite on the other side of the road which could be a bit noisy in the evenings. We didnt experience any noise from the garage at the back or from the farm itself. The cottage was clean although lacked attention to detail i.e.stuff under settee and clothes left in drawer from previous occupants. The wifi is pretty non existant and the TV seemed to have a will of its own when changing stations! The bedding was very clean as were the towels if a little small.Kitchen stocked basically good fridge, dishwasher and washing machine with communal drying room also stocking bbqs, books, jigsaws etc. There are nice walks around the site and it is close to all amenities including cinema and swimming pool.
Having had many static caravans in North Wales for 14 years, and not having one for the last 5 years, this was our first holiday in Wales since then? Didnt know what to expect? Looked great on the photos? Well it was first class, lovely setting, great base for exploring other parts of Wales, wanted for nothing really, well kitted out? Would highly recommend it 1010.
Richard
This cottage is in an ideal position to go travelling around North Wales. All of the main tourist attractions were within an hour and a half drive through the beautiful Welsh countryside and Snowdonia National Park. We were lucky with the weather which made our visit even more enjoyable. After a long day out and about, it was nice to get back to the homely comfort of the cottage and have relaxing evenings.
Lovely cottage well equiped and very comfortable. Would definitely use again.
Jennifer
Absolutely brilliant cottage was amazing ,location was great were definitely going back . Property was a credit to the owners who had thought of everything for a perfect holiday !
The television seemed to be stuck on one channel, ITV2. Nothing we tried could get it to receive any other channels and although we reported the matter on our second day, nobody thought it necessary to look into the matter. We also asked for help with the dishwasher, as that was proving to be difficult to get started, again no one gave us any help although we finally solved the problem, once we found the manual. It is interesting to note that some neighbour who had also experienced problems also struggled to get hold of the owners. It sailing terms, it's known as Spoiling the ship for a Ha'porth of tar!
Fantastic cottage with easy access to North Wales. Excellent facilities and spotless. Would highly recommend the cottage.
