Christopher
The finish of this cottage is nice, it can't be too long since it was painted, updated bathrooms etc. It's a nicely done up former stable! However, we found that it was not well equipped. First, the mattresses were not comfortable which did affect our sleep. We also missed places to put our things, like shelves in the bathrooms, more closet space, more hooks for coats, bags etc. It would have also been really nice if there were some throws for cold evenings, and a nice chair in each bedroom. One of the bathrooms had a slight smell of urine behind the toilet which was a bit offputting. There was also only a bit of handsoap in one bathroom and very few toilet rolls. The main difficulty though was the kitchen. It's a nice kitchen, and has all the appliances, but it was very poorly equipped otherwise. There were not sufficient glasses, cutlery etc. to halffill the dishwasher before everything was gone or even for our family of four to have matching glasses for one meal and there was very little equipment to cook with e.g. colander, decent knives etc.. Baking sheet and frying pan desperately need replacing. There was only one drying towel, no cloths, dishwasher tablets or dish sponges, so we had to go shopping for that first night. Often cottages will have ketchup, vinegar and salt and pepper. This one had a bit of sugar and salt only. We also had to deice the tiny freezer compartment in the fridge before we could fit anything in it. A proper freezer would have been so helpful for a family but I understand there isn't space for that. Each of these things aren't terrible on their own, but together they made our welcome disappointing they did leave a bottle of prosecco which was a nice touch A little attention to detail and a well equipped kitchen makes for a much more comfortable stay. And it would feel like you're anticipated and welcomed. I think this cottage could level up significantly with relatively little extra cost to the owner. Maybe it would help them to stay there themselves for a week and see what was missingneeded upgrading?
Had a great stay in this charming property. Thank you
Alison
Beautiful cottage and surroundings in a peaceful setting. Everything provided for a lovely holiday including a complimentary bottle of Prosecco. Have already reccommended to friends and we would gladly return.
Katharine
A fabulous cottage, the pictures don't do it justice as it is larger than they make it appear. Cottage was clean and well equipped with plenty of everything. Dishwasher and washing machine were much appreciated. Locality was great for exploring North Wales with plenty of places available within an hour's drive. A great holiday.

We had a lovely three generation holiday at StabalyGwedd. The holiday home is very comfortable and well equipped in beautiful rural surroundings yet easy to get out and about to lots of places such as Llandudno, Conwy and Colwyn Bay. We would happily return and would recommend for a family holiday.
Andrew
Only problem was key not in place on arrival and heating not on. Quickly and apologetically resolved once got through on phone.
Christopher
A comfortable, well appointed cottage. Our second stay here enjoyed it as much as the first. Peaceful location just remember it is a working farm which just adds to the experience with Abergele not far away. Nice welcome pack. Would recommend for a holiday

Our cottage was much bigger then our daughters that was the other end, she thought is it possible to swop over the bunk beds for future , in our shower room ensuitethere isn't enough space to put anything around sink really needs a bigger sink, black out blinds would be really good, we had to put towels over curtains, maybe more cleaning stuff,
Gillian
We were very pleased with our accommodation. It was ideal for a family. It was quiet and close to all the places we wanted to visit. Any issues were quickly addressed.
Claire
The cottage was lovely. Just a couple of comments the size of the bath towels were ok for women, but very small for men. The frying pan was small and old and could do with replacing.. its not big enough when cooking for 5 people. There's a bright light outside the front bedroom window which made the bedroom very light at night... is it possible to switch off? All in all though thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you.
Very relaxing stay. Accommodation had everything we needed. Lovely welcome pack was a pleasant surprise. We will definitely come again. Very convenient location for visiting the North Wales coast. Excellent value for money.
We had a lovely time at the cottage, the only thing I would say is, we could have done with a bigger sauce pan, especially as the cottage holds up to 5 people and found the largest pan not to be big enough.
We had a lovely stay. Everything was perfect. A bit beter WiFi for the kids and a larger fridge freezer would have made it a 5 star rating.
We enjoyed our stay. We had an issue with the water pressure but it was dealt with efficiently and very promptly. You list about the possibility of noise being a working farm but we heard very little, apart from your very friendly dog
Nicely appointed barn conversion ideal for 5. Two bathrooms a bonus. Location excellent for visiting Snowdonia or North Wales coast. Point lost as views from windows do not do it justice but it is where it is. Very clean and comfortable.
Lurleen
This property is exactly as it states and is in a beautiful location, located on a working farm. The owners are onsite, exceptionally helpful, and friendly. One of the nicest properties we've ever rented there isn't enough stars to rate it. No faults with this house at all, it's stunning.
Lovely place to stay, gorgeous countryside, very quiet and peaceful. Great for visiting the North Wales coast and Snowdonia. Property had excellent heating very warm, and plenty of hot water. As it is a barn conversion, floors and doors all a bit creaky, but didn't distract from a fab time.
Christopher
Lovely comfortable cottage with very friendly hosts. Had a very relaxing holiday in a beautiful part of the country. Would book to stay again.
It's our second time here we found it very clean and tidy and quiet peaceful considering it's on a farm and camp site only thing it was missing was a brush or dustpan and brush to tidy up when we left . ANN
The cottage was lovely. Very clean and comfortable. However the kitchen lacked crockery, ie only 4 mugs and one was chipped and there were only 5 glass tumblers. We managed as there were only 3 of us but the cottage does sleep 6! Also the microwave door melted so we couldnt use it. I contacted the owner but they didnt respond.
The welcome hamper was amazing, space for children to play outside great. Hosts very helpful and friendly, the children loved watching the cows run to the barn opposite, walk to the local summit really nice too
Rachel
A lovely place to stay. Clean and tidy accommodation with everything you need. Lovely welcome basket from the owners too. Didnt hear any noise from the farm. Our daughter loved having the horses at the end of the drive to visit each day. Close to lots of lovely places to visit, a great base for your holiday. Would definitely stay again.
Pauline

Claire

Lorraine
What a fabulous cottage, it exceeded all our expectations, we will definately come back. Ideal location for touring around wales.
Great holiday. Good location, comfortable warm well equipped cottage. Great stay.
Overall great holiday with all boxes ticked.
Christine
The cottage was lovely with everything we needed, even a welcome basket with tea bags, milk, cheese, welsh cakes and home made chutney to greet us. The brochure mentioned some noise being a working farm but this didn't start till 8.00am each morning and finished by 10pm at night so plenty of time to get some sleep as it was then very quiet.
The cottage was fantastic and in a great location, it had everything you could possible want for a week self catering. The welcome basket was much appreciated especially the home made chutney which was excellent as indeed were the eggs. We could not fault it, we started a visitors book to help the next people know places to we had visited and places we had eaten as we find such things an excellent help when deciding where to go and especially to eat out. A fabulous holiday in a fabulous place. Susan
Very lovely cottage and the owners were very welcoming. Thank you for n enjoyable holiday
Location a little out in the country for us. Too far to walk anywhere, ie pub & shops
