Hendre Aled Farmhouse Reviews

Lovely farmhouse enjoyed especially by the kids. Cakes were a lovely touch and enjoyed. Cooker knobs worn and had difficulty with getting one oven to work. No instructions found for rubbish which we bagged a put in the porch area. Had some heavy rain which cause leak in porch area, causing shoes to become wet. Difficult location to reach might be difficult fir some drivers. Overall we enjoyed our stay, plenty of room for us all.

This is a wonderful place for a family get away. The cottage is lovely and quaint with many original features. It is so comfortable, plenty of space for everyone to relax. The bedrooms are so big with very comfortable beds. The kitchen is well fitted out with plenty of utensils and crockery to use. The outside area was beautiful, so much space for everyone to enjoy. The veiws of the surrounding countryside are picturesque. This place is out of the way from the hustle and bustle of everything. We have an amazing 3 nights stay and would definitely recommend it. Pauline and Alun were available if we'd had any issues.

Very helpful owners!

Beautiful setting. Host was amazing. Spent the weekend with family to watch Cambrian Rally. Kids loved it !! By the way, thank you for the cake

Hendre Aled Farnhouse was lovely! It looks very rustic and a little dilapidated at first sight especially the outbuildings which are very farmyardy but once inside we were very impressed. The rooms are huge, and eleven of us fitted comfortably without ever feeling cramped. The addition of a large chocolate cake was very much enjoyed! The only slight problem was with accessing the site. We have a 4 wheel drive vehicle but the other two cars arent, and the road getting to the house is really only suitable for a 4x4,especially in the wet. It is steep and just a farm track. One of the cars only made it back up the hill by emptying it out and transporting everything else in other cars. In the ice it would be impassable. Having said that, once there the remoteness added to the feeling of being away from it all. A rustic, relaxed but comfortable place to stay in stunning countryside.

Excellent place to spend time with Family. Well maintained and comfortable. Both the owners are phenomenal in taking care of us during our stay. Thank you Mr and Mrs Lloyd.
Samantha

Rachel

We had the most amazing 3 days at Hendre Aled! The cottage was clean and as described with everything we needed except a washing machine .The location is amazing with the most beautiful landscapes! For 7 adults and 5 children it was perfect! We hope to visit again in the summer!
Stephanie
Lovely farmhouse, shame garden and patio areas rather overgrown. During our visit had a minor problem with mice, very quickly sorted out by the owners. Dont leave any food stuffs out. Can be a tricky drive down to the farmhouse and cottages in wet weather. Overall wonderful stay and great views, family loved it extremely comfortable. Thank you Pauline and Alun.
We had an amazing weekend stay here. The place was clean, very spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. Amazing viewsscenery surround the farmhouse and countryside walks were available right outside the front and back door. We would definitely return and recommend to friends and family, thank you.
Jurate
Lovely property. Really had a good time. Fit well 3 family, 12 people. Brilliant owner
Elaine
We arrived on the Friday afternoon to be met by the friendly owners who showed us round a very roomy 12 bed cottage. It had everything you needed and was spotlessly clean.
Beautiful cottage in a great location. Ideal base to travel out to the surrounding locations. The only suggestion I would give to improve the stay would be that the cottage would benefit from a washing machine. However apart from that everything else was perfect. Thank you.
Stephanie
This is a fantastic property and would highly recommend!

Amazing holiday! Amazing property! We definitely will come back soon
A fantastic holiday experience for 12 people, both young and old. Would definitely recommend this farmhouse.
Lesley
Amazing place to stay. Warm clean and everything you need. Lots of room for a family. Peace and quiet. Feeding the wild birds was a bonus and saw woodpeckers, jays, net hatch and so much more The owners are lovely and helpful too. Would deffo visit again
Winderful hosts and the most beautiful Farmhouse in the most idyllic setting. Far exceeded expectations. Equipped with everything and more than you could need and was immaculate inside and out. More than enough space for the 6 adults, 2 teens and a 7 year old. No one could possibly be disappointed.
Hendre Aled is a really lovely cottage and big enough to comfortably house our extended family. A house of this size would really benefit from a washing machine, the only improvement I would suggest.
Well equipped and comfortable furnishings, Amazingly scenic, peaceful and remote location, despite the bumpy approach track. The house was spotlessly clean on arrival, and we were made very welcome by the owner's. The two sittings rooms were perfect one for the adults and one for the kids. Once the log burner gets going in the main lounge, it warms the whole house! Lots of open space in the surrounding fields for the children, including the imaginative play equipment. Could do with a washing machine with a house full of mucky kids!
Fantastic location, fantastic facilities.
Hayleigh
The farmhouse is amazing. Excellent facilities and location. The owners Pauline and Alun were really helpful. Can't recommend the farmhouse enough. We had a family gathering for Easter and went to do the zip wire velocity which wasn't too far away. My mum's planning a return trip for us all to the farmhouse next year as everyone enjoyed it so much.
Lovely place perfect for our family. The cottage had everything we needed plenty of towels, the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and we cooked all our meals there.
