Sitting on the edge of Mynydd Hiraethog (the Denbigh Moors) and surrounded by 18 acres of farmland, this is a proper countryside property with oak beamed ceilings, a slate inglenook fireplace and two woodburners. It sits 2.5 miles from the village of Llansannan and the nearest pub and shop.

The setting is genuinely remote and peaceful. Wildlife is on the doorstep guests regularly spot woodpeckers, jays and nuthatches. The large woodland garden has furniture and a BBQ. Stargazing on clear nights is exceptional this far from light pollution.

Accommodation includes a mezzanine family room with 3 singles, two four-poster king-size doubles (one with an adjoining triple bunk room), a double room and a triple bunk room. Two bathrooms one with a roll-top bath and double shower plus a ground floor WC serve the group. Note: there is no hot tub and no washing machine.

Denbigh is 8 miles away. Betws-y-Coed and Snowdonia National Park are 10 miles west. Llyn Brenig reservoir is nearby for walks and watersports. The North Wales coast at Abergele and Colwyn Bay is around 8 - 8.5 miles.

Hendre Aled Farmhouse is a large group property and not ideally suited to couples alone.
