The house was generally grubby and gave the impression of not being cared for. Externally there were weeds in the front garden and the rear garden had copious quantities of weeds and the garden furniture was in a poor state of repair. Internally the place was generally grubby particularly the stair banister and there were cobwebs in both the lounge and the kitchen. The microwave oven was dirty and also rusty. Although the house sleeps five there were only sufficient knives and forks for four and glasses for three. The biggest problem was that the loft space was infested with squirrels which disturbed our nights and early mornings. On one occasion I observed a squirrel run up the side wall and enter the loft via a hole in the soffit close to the TV ariel. On a positive note the house was very close to the beach. I have made a complaint to Sykes Cottages and await the outcome.

Lovely house nice and spacious 4 adults , Garden furniture as seen better days, garden was full of weeds and we did have to remove some dog mess, its a safe place for pets. The problem we had was from squirrels in attic, there going in by drain pipe next to TV airel there's quite a few in there very noisy from 5am and late at night but a very nice area close to town centre as well as beach, Could do with bath mat and more cutlery, the black bin was overflowing, it did get emptied, the green bin for garden waste is contaminated. Would go again

The house was much cleaner than our visit last April. Beds, chairs and settees very comfortable. Love having the Garden room. Kitchen pretty basic but most things we needed. Excellent location so we will be booking for the 3rd year running in 2026. Bedside lamp needs a new shade please.

House in very nice location. Whoever is cleaning the property is only doing so 'top show'. Microwave dirty, under sofa main cushions, discusting hadn't been cleaned in months, build up of dog hair, crumbs, rubbish etc. Long hair in bed. Recycling was put out on previous holidaymakers behalf, big build up of rubbish sorted out with recycling people for someone else as in wrong bins. We had virtually no recycling. Toilet seat loose.

We had a lovely stay. This house is in a great location. We were so pleased that it you allowed dogs to stay. The pans for cooking in were great. Completely none stick and looked brand new. The crockery was good. Thank you for the goodies too. Bottle of proscecco, chocolate, crisps, etc. That was a lovely thought. The shower leaks a little when used. The leak comes from where the hose comes out of the shower itself. Just letting you know because of it being electric. Also you need something on top of the cupboard to put the hot pans and grill pan on. You have nice cupboards and it would be a shame to ruin them . It would be nice to have a mirror in the back bedroom too. Thank you so much. We had a lovely stay

Clean house, good location. Beds in second bedroom were not made up ready & only a single douvet set provided. Bathroom window did not close completely, shower a bit weak and back garden scruffy & over grown. Didnt encourage you to sit outside which was a shame as the weather was lovely.

Had a absolutely lovely relaxed week . The house is great in a nice quiet avenue. Parking for two cars that's a good bonus also the garden being totally enclosed is perfect . Only a short walk to the beach and most places are dog friendly Would love to revisit next year all being well .thanks for letting us stay

Had a lovely short break, just 2 of and our 2 dogs, the beach is at the end of the road, the house is lovely and well maintained. We prevoiusly stayed here in September 2020 and I definitely stay again, if we were looking for a break in Prestatyn.

Had a good stay only a stone'sthrow away from the beach and amenities. Very quiet area especially with caravans behind the house. Beds comfy so is inside house. Weather was kind to us sunny and warm all week. Only downside was the oven which smoke alarm kept going off, so after a good clean by us that stopped that. Would stay again.

We had a lovely stay at Ty Haf Summerhouse. The house was completely as described and gave you a home from home feeling. The hamper left for us was a nice treat. We were very close to the beach so we had some lovely strolls with the dogs. Look forward to booking up again.

The cottage was in a lovely spot, there were just some things missing that I would have expected to see. There was no coat hooks or rack in the entrance hall. so nowhere to hang outdoor clothing. There was no towel rail in the bathroom, and no hooks for clothing. we were only provided with 1 bath towel each, I expected there to be a hand towel each. There was a lovely welcome pack but no booklet with details of local interesting places to visit and where to go for a chemistdoctorvet which we usually find in the cottage. We still enjoyed the holiday though.

Well, it all is decided by our puppy. He was comfortable so were we. We are 2 adults and 1 Labrador family. The house had everything from Netflix and dining place. The conservatory is a big bonus, that was puppies room. The enclosed backgarden was a good size for us to chill. A big plus and I am sure everyone will appreciate it, is the outdoor tap. Puppybeachsand was never a problem with the outdoor tap, rinsing the dog out, so we had no sand in the house!
