Rhos Las Reviews

Rhos Las was absolutely superb. Credit to Dona and Trystan as they have wonderful taste and this is reflected in their property. The kitchen dining area is stunning and is to such a high standard. Everything was faultless about the accommodation and I would highly recommend to others. The two local pubs serve fantastic food at a reasonable cost. We were 'snowed in' a lot but this just added to the charm of the house and surroundings and some of our family even tried out the hot tub which was also fabulous. Overall, an absolute cert and would happily return. Maybe during a warmer period though!
Beautiful, well presented property. Home from home comforts, quiet and relaxing. Dona was very helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here.
The listing doesnt do it justice, what an amazing place. The setting is gorgeous, the house is amazing. We had the best time! Everywhere is decorated to perfection and amazing for guests, so much space! Would 100 visit again, we all had an amazing weekend. Small issue with flies but we bought some fly strips and that sorted the issue.
We had the absolute pleasure of staying at this stunning holiday cottage and it exceeded all expectations. The house itself is amazing beautifully kept, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. What truly set it apart were the breathtaking views that never tired of admiring whether enjoying a morning coffee, cooking on the bbq or winding down for an evening in the hot tub, the scenery was nothing short of spectacular. The kitchen was impressively wellstocked with everything we needed and more it made cooking meals a breeze and felt like a true home away from home. Every detail throughout the cottage reflected thoughtfulness and care. What really made this stay unforgettable was the owners kindness with accommodating my requests, which was quite a few ! This ranged from being able to organise balloons to be delivered Dona kindly letting me know when they arrived, which put me at ease. Also, allowing us to book a private chef to host an evening meal on my wifes birthday and a request to check out a hour later. Their kindness made my wifes 60th birthday so special. They went above and beyond in every way and we were genuinely touched by their kindness. We couldnt have asked for a better place or a more memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax, recharge, and enjoy the best that North Wales has to offer. Well definitely be back! Thank you Dona and Trystan xx
Stayed over weekend with family. Fabulous house tastefully renovated from small farm. Hot tub overlooking fields and sheep enjoyed by all. Good fish and chips from Saracens pub. Easy journey to BetwsYCoed. Relaxing and beautiful views.
We had a fantastic stay at Rhos Las for three days. The house is fantastic and is well equipped with everything you could need, and more. The beds were comfy, and there is plenty of room for everyone both inside and outside the house. The hot tub was fantastic and had great views over the Welsh countryside We were initially hesitant to book with the check inout times being 4pm and 10am. However, the host was extremely flexible and allowed us to check in earlier which was very accommodating. We had a lovely stay and would recommend it to anyone
Lovely clean place friendly owner. No issues at all I would highly recommend this place!
I have already mentioned the toaster is tripping the switch. The kitchen was rather warm I probably should have worked out how to adjust, I mention it though as it will be giving rise to a cost for you. I think the TV remote for the lounge is reaching its last legs and it seems to be the only one for the lounge and kitchen.
Absolutely amazing property and as advertised. Clean, tidy, modern and beautiful. Would defo return!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks
Charlotte
Property is beautiful, well equipped and very clean. Hot tub is a lovely addition to help relax and unwind which is what our group needed.
Kirsty
Our second stay here and we had the best time again! Such lovely surroundings and a lovely little village! The cottage is lovely and modern but still has all the comforts of a cozy cottage! We will definitely be going back xx
My Daughter, myself, three Grandchildren and a dog had the most lovely stay in the most beautiful cottage. The owner had left us dog treats, sweets for the children, and a lovely bottle of elderflower drink which was very kind. Toys for children to play with. Everything we needed. We are home now but wish we were back looking at the lovely view. We certainly will come again. Thank you for a lovely stay Joan and Gemma and three monkeys and a dog.
Pauline
This is a fabulous house we have a family tradition of going away together annually to spend quality time together, we always go for the first Six Nations Rugby match. Dona and her family provided a beautiful house that is spacious, comfortable and ideal for a family gathering as both the kitchen and living area are large. The highlights for our family was the log burner, the views and top was the hot tub overlooking the Welsh hills. This was a great weekend and in a lovely location to explore Bala and BetwsYCoed.
Amazing property perfect for a family birthday weekend What an absolutely beautiful property the best we have stayed in as a family and we have stayed in plenty ! We had a lovely stay at Rhos Las. Wonderful kitchen and living room with loads of space. Loved waking up to the beautiful views in the morning. The children and adults enjoyed the hot tub and spent evenings playing cricket on the grassy area. Can recommend Llyn Brenig for a visit good walks and bike rides.
Samantha
Beautiful property in a great location! We stayed as a big group of girls, with a toddler and 2 dogs and the property is so spacious, definitely not on top of eachother with the gorgeous, big kitchen with lots of seating and then a further big living room. The outdoor space is beautiful too with stunning views. With the yardgarden being so big always keep an eye on your dogs as lots of hiding places but fully secure when gets are shut. Everything you would need for a stay away, highly recommend.
Olivia

Absolutely stunning property, attention to detail fantastic, great views centrally located so loads of choice on where to visit whether it being inland or on the coast the only downside was the weather! We visited the property as a family group of various ages and can honestly say that the accommodation suited all of us. We were particularly grateful for two outside seating areas where we could either follow the sun or escape from it. The hot tub was a bonus as well. A thoroughly enjoyable stay at a beautiful property.
What a beautiful cottage. Everything about the property was fantastic and the owners were extremely helpful. The property had loads of little extras that you don't get at all cottages like kitchen rollextra toilet rollsdishwaher tablets which is a great touch. The kids and dogs loved their Easter treats! Will defiantly be back. Thank you x

This property was beautifully presented. It was spotless and extra little touches made it feel like a home away from home. The location was fantastic and the views each morning were incredible. The host was fantastic and nothing was too much of a bother. We cant wait to come back! Highly recommended.
Andrew
Was a very gorgeous property with incredible views especially when the sun was setting. I really enjoyed the time I spent with my family there. The host was lovely.
A phenomenal holiday cottage, it was so well considered with all the things we might have needed taken care of. The little lights by the hot tub that came on after dark to make the stay more magical. We enjoyed the perfect view of the Welsh hills and the luxurious mattresses on the beds. The kitchen is fantastically organised to perfection and the children and I were able to bake together whilst looking out of the vast windows at the blissful view. It was also, Perfectly located for forest walks and two beautiful lakes. This holiday let was everything we could have hoped for and more for a wonderful weekend break. We are already looking at dates for a time to return to the retreat. Thanks to our generous host Dona.
