Comfortable, spacious, well equipped house with a fascinating history. Photos & description are SPOT ON. Highly recommend. Hosts live close by and gave up to date local knowledgeable and advice on eateries, walks and places of interest we would never have discovered. Melbecks is in a great location for exploring North Wales and has the added bonus of decked area overlooking garden with variety of wildlife and distant sea views perfect for a cuppa or sundowner! We had an amazing relaxing week. The property was perfect and it was the little extra touches that really made it very welcoming. Would definitely return Jane and Rik were great hosts and have done the property great. We loved the views and the quietness watching the wildlife and listening to the owl at night. Thanks again Jane see you soon
Fabulous place to stay. The owners have done a fantastic job of creating a comfortable, modern holiday home without losing the little features that give Melbecks its character. Position is superb in the hills behind Abergele with attractions such as Conwy and the beaches a short drive away. Surrounding quiet lanes are great for cycling and there's a great pubrestaurant about a mile down the road. Owners Jane and Rik are great hosts and left a lovely selection of local goodies to greet us. We're already looking forward to returning sometime soon.

When we were looking for somewhere to stay for a weekend break at short notice, we were left little choice. But I'm glad that out of the properties we viewed, we chose Melbecks. As soon as we opened the gate to the property you feel the properties charm, as it has been lovely updated with all the necessities of life today, while keeping the houses original look and feel. The property smelled fresh, clean and had everything we needed when we arrived, and my family have only compliments about the property and our stay.
