Tyn Llwyn Reviews

What a wonderful cottage in the most beautiful surroundings. The best equipped accommodation I have ever visited Lovely part of Denbighshire Be prepared for a bumpy approach as the first third of a mile of the .8 of a mile approach has many pot holes, but drive slowly and all will be well.
Heather
Our stay here was for a pre birthday celebration for the whole family and we all had a fabulous time. The views from the property are amazing and the living area is open plan, with lots of natural daylight and stays warm. The bedrooms upstairs are bright with very comfortable beds. Outside is a large area which our granddaughter loved exploring and playing on the lawn. It always takes a time to learn how to use appliances and heating systems on a new property but there were good instructions. We would definitely stay here again.

Tyn Llwyn is a lovely, spacious, open plantype property with modern features yet a traditional feel. As soon as we arrived, we were struck by the number of large windows with unique and quirky seating next to each, offering various moods and perspectives of the wonderful views. The kitchen is wellequipped, including a large fridgefreezer with an ice machine and cold water tap. The bedrooms are comfortable, and the utility room next to one of the bedrooms is ideal for keeping the dog overnight. Most impressive, however, is the balcony, which sits at the side of the property and allows you to appreciate the rolling hills and red kites theres also a bird feeder directly outside the property, which attracts all sorts of garden birds. The balcony is accessed via bifolding doors, which you can open to cool the lounge area down, as the property can get warm when sunny. The property is very private, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The only person we saw was a local farmer shewing away some sheep that had made their way up the long driveway. Outside, there are three large garden areas with plenty of space for the dog to run around, accessed either by the main door or via the staircase on the balcony. If you do take your dog, be mindful of the hundreds of pheasants! We ordered a Tesco delivery, and met the driver at the end of the driveway to make things a little easier. Owner Jane is excellentwe had a lengthy phone call prior to our visit, during which she gave us plenty of tips for the local area, and she was readily available for communication if needed. Checkin was straightforward, with the key accessed though a coded key safe. We loved our time there, and we wouldnt hesitate to return!
The property had all we needed and more. Plenty of space for 6 adults. Really clean and top quality appliances. Beautiful views across the valley and in a great location to explore North Wales. The owners were brilliant and provided us with valuable information before we arrived and sorted issues quickly while we were there.
Excellent in all respects. Very likely to book it again.
Deborah
The house and facilities at the cottage were brilliant. The pictures on the internet do not do it justice. We had a wonderful stay and would like to come again and will recommend to family and friends. The only issue we had even with the what three words reference provided was finding the house down the little lane. It took us to the houses at the top initially.
Really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is lovely and spacious, I don't think the photos, on the listing, do the size of the property justice. We didn't feel short of anything during our stay and will definitely be looking to stay again at some point.
Louise
What a beautiful home, peaceful and tranquil yet close to a main road to get everywhere easily, but far enough away to not hear traffic noise. Jane and Ian had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. We absolutely loved it.
Sharon
This was our third visit to this stunning house. There is everything you could ever want in a home away from home. The owners are extremely helpful and readily available via telephone or email for any questions or issues. The house was impeccably clean as always and fully equipped. You will not be disappointed booking this beautiful home.
Shirley
Fantastic house with lovely views from all windows. Plenty of wild life to see and a whole variety of birds if you put feed out. Would like to return sometime in the future.
8 adults and one dog . ...we had lovely, comfortable stay in a clean, wellequipped and well presented home. The views were stunning .... the log burners kept us warm and the comfy chairs and beds kept us cosy. Would definitely recommend.
Sharon
This was our 2nd visit to this stunning property. The house itself it amazing with the most spectacular views. Everything you could possibly want inside the house is available and the owners are very helpful should you need any information. It is in a perfect location for all the sights you wish to see and for taking wonderful walks through the North Welsh countryside. We love it so much we have already booked our 3rd visit.
Jennifer
Lovely property with plenty of room for 7 adults. Very well equipped with everything that we needed. Amazing views, we loved watching the weather change along the valley. Would definitely stay here again.
We have just had a lovely week with our family of seven and one dog. This is an amazing cottage with everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable break. The views from the balcony are second to none and its location makes easy exploring of the surrounding countryside, mountains and beaches. We will definitely be returning to this beautiful place!
Joanne
Fabulously positioned, very well equipped for 8 people and extremely comfortable.
Sharon
What a fabulous week we had at your lovely home. The weather was glorious and the family spent many hours on the balcony relaxing, soaking up the sun and enjoying the fantastic views. We miss the cows and sheep walking past already.
Sharon
Absolutely beautiful house, amazing location with stunning views across the Welsh countryside. Spotlessly clean, very well equipped and very spacious. Great communication from owners with regards to the house and area.
Tranquil setting , stunning cottage well situated for many areas in the region. Will be back
Valerie
We had a lovely week with brilliant weather. The cottage is lovely and very spacious. It was well equipped however a suggestion would be to have some child friendly crockery etc. Eg plastic plates and cups. On edge with a three year old!! Beautiful outlook. Owner was very helpful when I rang for the key code, giving us lots of ideas of places to visit. Would definitely book it again.
Very private but not far away from anything. The cottage was a quirky mix of old and new with stunning views. Great facilities on site absolutely everything you could need topped off with super comfortable beds. We will definitely book again next year.
Fantastic location, amazing views, loads of parking, well stocked kitchen with utensils, plates, cutlery, pans, teatowels, foil, cling film etc. Lots of outside space with seating. Would definitely recommend.
Eleanor
We had a lovely holiday at Tyn Llwyn. Its a beautiful house with lots of space and incredible views. The house was very well equipped and comfortable. We were able to go for lots of local walks in the countryside. I would definitely return!
Alison
Fantastic cottage. The main living area is just so large and beautiful. The sound system was brilliant and it was such a treat to be able to play music without worrying about the neighbours! There are even speakers for the terraced area for when the weather is warm enough to be outside. Being late October we were lucky enough to have a few sunny days and enjoyed the outdoors a little. Wed love to go back in the summer. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. Everything we need was there and we cooked at home every night. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept really well every night. The location was stunning. We never tired of that wonderful view each day. We found so much joy in watching the animals in the garden and even spotted a woodpecker on one of the bird feeders. The second lounge was very useful when the children wanted to play computer games. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something a little bit special. The owners were helpful when we had a couple of queries. The only suggestion to improve things would be to perhaps redecorate the downstairs bedroom as that looked a bit tired, but in no way detracted from our holiday.
Allison
All we can say is. .WOW! An amazing property in a stunning location. Fantastic facilities and quality fixtures throughout! We will most definately be booking to stay here again.
Beautiful cottage, great location and would definitely come back!

Another wonderful stay here. Beautiful house and grounds. Remote and quiet. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
The cottage was superior to expectations with fabulous views and a great quiet location. The cottage was perfect for a family gathering as it was very spacious indeed. Everyone said we had chosen well.
Rebecca
The cottage was perfect for our family. We were sad to leave! The photos don't do justice to the cottage and it was even better than we expected. The whole experience was very good and we are planning our next holiday there.
