Such a beautiful and peaceful location, we had a lovely weekend here and loved it, would definitely recommend!

A spacious lodge with stunning views and a really welcoming feel. We loved how open the area around the lodge was plenty of space and beautiful views in every direction. The welcome booklet was excellent, with genuinely useful suggestions for things to do locally and clear explanations of how everything in the lodge worked. Before our stay, we had a few questions about what was included, and the team were fantastic. They replied quickly and made sure everything we needed was ready for us when we arrived. Inside, the openplan layout worked brilliantly. The sofa was very comfortable, and having both a breakfast bar and a dining table made the space feel flexible and homely. Signposting to the lodge was also very good, which is especially helpful as its located along a singletrack road with several turnings. The hot tub was a real highlight very easy to use, simple to light, and it stayed warm without any fuss. The views from the tub were absolutely brilliant. A few things that could be improved The blinds were a bit temperamental and took some effort to get working properly. The shower was slightly unusual, as the head couldnt be tilted downwards, so the water sprayed out horizontally though the temperature and pressure were great. Towels were on the small side a couple of larger ones and some extra hooks or a rail would have been helpful. Being in the countryside, we did expect some flies, but a few fly strips would have been useful they did provide fly spray, but we had our dog with us. We also had a bit of disturbed sleep from what sounded like mice or rats on the roof again, not entirely unexpected in a rural setting, but worth noting. Clothes storage was a little limited, and a wardrobe would have made things easier. Overall Despite a few minor issues, we had a really enjoyable stay. The views, space, helpful team, and easytouse hot tub made it a lovely break, and with a couple of small tweaks it would be close to perfect.

Easy to find, easily accessible, and well signposted. The accommodation is lovely, very clean, private, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The views are perfect with plenty of beautiful sights to see. This was our second time staying here, and once again it didnt disappoint. We would happily return.

This was our fifth time visiting 'The Hidden Meadow' and it was the best yet! The new lodge is superb spacious, extremely comfortable, with wonderful views across the Welsh hills. We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay so much we booked an extra night. In terms of location you can't get better, the views and privacy were spot on. Facilities were great, the oven was so good we're going to buy the same model at home! The shower pressure was brilliant and the shower itself was huge. Beds were super comfy. Using a wood fired hot tub was new to us and took 24 hours to get used to it, but after that we actually preferred it to an electric one as it retains heat for longer. The tv set up was great and the sofa was really comfy. The coffee machine was a fantastic touch. The only thing we'd change is making the patio area secure for the dog to run around off lead, but it wasn't an issue as we just kept him on his long lead. He really settled quickly and loved the cows! We'll certainly be back. Fabulous holiday!

Loved our stay here and we are definitely booking again. The location was perfect and we were totally relaxed. So private and peaceful.

Sykes need to state when the property is next to a farm likely to be near cows. The flies were horrendous and this is the third time weve had this in Sykes cottages. Otherwise flat batteries in TVremote, hot tub thermometer was of wrong type and the water was much much hotter than it stated, dangerously scolding, there was no washing up liquid or toilet duck. All just little things but annoying.

Beautiful place plenty of space for the dogs and amazing views. Very clean tidy and modern, immaculate! Bed was extremely comfy! Was just such a beautiful place I didnt want to leave! Will 100 be returning!

Beautiful lodge set in a beautiful place. If you want peace, quiet and tranquility this is the place. We had a lovely relaxing week especially in the hot tub every evening. I would highly recommend this place.
