We love Bodlywydd Fawr, and Sophie and Ynyr are excellent hosts. This was the third stay for us, and the weather could not have been more different than last time. The sun shone and we were able to get out and explore the area. The Annexe is beautifully appointed with comfortable sofas and a big tv you have to rely on streaming, and catchup can be a bit temperamental but youre not there for the telly, are you? The kitchen has everything you could need, and the little extras are much appreciated! Upstairs has two large comfy bedrooms, a decent shower room and the bonus of a bath too. Overall a great home from home.

It exceeded our expectations for location, was extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated and furnished, with a lot of thought given to make sure we had everything we needed. This was our second stay at Bodlywydd Fawr Annexe, and it didn't disappoint. The only downside was the weather, but that's not something you can blame on the property or the hosts! This is a beautifully appointed place with all you need for a few days away. It also has good wifi in case you need to do some work... and fully functioning heating! Sophie and Ynyr are excellent hosts and while they keep themselves to themselves, it was great to have them on hand if necessary. We look forward to staying again when the weather is not quite so dreadful!

'Bodlywydd Fawr Annexe' was a great place to stay while we were visiting the area. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed during our week there. It is set in a quiet location with views of the surrounding hills and nature all around. It is ideally located to explore the the local market town of Ruthin and further afield Llangollen, Wrexham, Snowdonia and Chester. The owners are nearby and were extremely welcoming and helpful.

Bodlywydd Fawr Annexe is a beautiful property, furnished to a very high standard. Downstairs the goodsized living area is very comfy, the dining area and kitchen have just about everything you could possibly need for a few days away from home. It's really helpful to have good wifi too especially as the phone coverage is not good! A handwritten welcome card, Welsh cakes and Bara Brith are a nice touch. Upstairs is very spacious with 2 big bedrooms, one of which has a fabulous bath, along with a stylish and functional shower room... the bed we slept in was extremely comfortable, too.
