Grange Caravan Reviews

Michael
We had a great Easter break the caravan had everything you need. We were warm and comfortable. We will be returning again soon. Thank you.
Denise
We found the caravan satisfactory, it was clean & had everything that you would need. Didn't see or greeted by anyone. The pub on site wasn't open when we arrived on the Monday & didn't open until the night before we left. This caravan is more suited for a family with young children as there is a play area on site.
Stayed here before in 2022 and again it is an excellent place to stay with stunning views. The benefits of a larger tv than you usually get in rentals is a huge bonus, plus it was a smart tv so we could stream the channels we subscribe to. There is a lovely quiet lane at the rear of the caravan where you can walk your dog and a walking area around the large field in front. It has all of the amenities you could require, lovely comfortable sofa and armchairs, cooker, oven, microwave and fridge so we had everything we needed. Will definitely rebook in the future as both experiences have been excellent.

The location is beautiful, however the caravan was not as clean as hoped but was aceptable. The bbq outside was really bad we could not use this. The pub on site food was good but closed Tuesday and as the toaster and oven would not work and because it had not been cleaned and part of a seal hanging off we did not use this which meant we had to eat out all the time, where we wanted a relaxed holiday just sitting on the decking enjoying the view. When all the campers was there was quite noisy as they was really close to the caravan. One night we had about 6 young people I had to ask them if they could turn the music down which they did but later at night the took wood from a store near the bins and made a large fire which created lots of smoke where we had to sit inside the test of the night. Its a pity because with a little TLC the caravan and gardens would be lovely as the views are beautiful.
Absolutely wonderful place to stay! The caravan had everything we needed and more. The setting is so peaceful and the views are beautiful. Had a lane immediately behind for walking our dog who loved it. Extra special is the large tv, most cottages have a very small tv which is far too small for us to enjoy watching anything. We will be returning in the spring if we can.
Robert
Though dated, the property was comfortable. The bed was clean and very comfy. Things that let it down were there was no bulb in the standard light, no battery in the clock and no bulb in the light at the dining table. Easily replaced to make the property more welcoming. Kitchen needed new taps. We did not attempt to close the blinds. Central heating came on around ten pm at night for some reason. Morning heating was O.K .though and the gas fire was welcome . There was a smell of drains in the bathroom. Good location for getting around.
We spent our family holiday very nice. A great place for a vacation. Very friendly staff. Beautiful views. We highly recommend it and we will definitely come back.
