Our third stay in Dove Cottage was just as good as our previous stays. There were a number of very welcome treats waiting for us on arrival which brought a smile to our faces. The cottages location is absolutely ideal being so close to the towns square. Even better, from our point of view, is the excellent Small Plates restaurant being directly opposite. It was a very relaxing break and we have no doubt that we will be back again at some time in the future.

Great location! Ideally situated in the centre of Ruthin, it sits directly opposite the wonderful Small Plates restaurant. Although it is central we found it to be pretty quiet. The garage and the kitchen are on the ground floor with the shower room we particularly appreciated the roomy shower with a nonslip base, bedroom and lounge on the floor above. The advantage of this arrangement is that from the latter there is a rooftop view of Ruthin and the surrounding countryside. In this tastefully decorated and newly carpeted lounge there are two comfortable sofas, an armchair, two small coffee tables and a desk. A large SMART TV provides the entertainment. There is a newly installed, attractive kitchen which is well equipped. In the same room are the dining table and chairs. We have now stayed at Dove Cottage twice and Michelle, the owner, has been very helpful and has provided us with a number of treats each time. The Bara Brith fruit cake is delicious! Ruthin is ideal for visiting North Wales as there is a good road network around there.

Lovely cottage in a good location. Comfy bed, large shower with plenty of hot water and lovely view from living room window. Maybe could do with curtains in the bedroom rather than just blinds. It didn't bother us as early risers but might bother some. It could also do with more storage in the bedroom for clothes. We would certainly stay there again.

This is a great little cottage in the centre of Ruthin everything is provided for a real home from home feel, comfy bed, spotlessly clean and gorgeous views from the upstairs living room.

I couldn't have wished for a more lovely stay. I travelled from Cornwall to attend my son's wedding at Ruthin Castle and had a fabulous time. The cottage was immaculately presented and extremely comfortable. Michelle was very hospitable and kind. I was able to park my car at the Castle which was just a three minute walk away. Ruthin is a very pretty town and people very friendly. Highly recommended.

This is a beautiful cottage nestled in the town of Ruthin. Although it is almost in the centre of town it is on a narrow one way street with no traffic noise. It is ideally located for all the lovely shops, cafes etc. that Ruthin has to offer. The cottage itself is immaculate, beautifully decorated and has everything you need. The living room on the first floor is in a lovely position with views over fields. We would highly recommend this cottage and would definitely stay here again.

Very nice cottage in a good central location and handy for all amenities. The cottage was clean, cosy and pleasantly decorated. It was easy to drop off luggage and there was plentiful 24 hour public parking at a very reasonable price, at several locations close by. I would happily return.

The cottage was as described. Very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed staying at Dove cottage. Very good location for walking around the town, if staying local. Or venturing further. The overnight parking was very close and only 4 a day. The owner was excellent to deal with. So just perfect for us.

Dove Cottage is a fabulous home from home place. It has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The lounge area is very cosy and a good size. The bed is extremely comfortable and the shower is huge. Welcome pack is a lovely touch. The Cottage is right in the centre of Ruthin with several car parks nearby, 4 for 24 hours.

Terrific place to stay, especially during the weeks leading up to Christmas. Lots of promotions in town 2 minutes away and great variety of places to eat very satisfied!

Because of the great location and facilities, I am still really enjoying my stay. For some downtime especially during the winter months, the owners have left a variety of books and encourage the reading I like the crime thrillers!

A truly wonderful cottage in all respects. Everything you would want is present in this well appointed home. A super comfortable bed, fantastic bathroom with a superb shower. Lounge is very comfortable with great views of the countryside. Kitchen has everything you need, a great place to cook and eat. We cant recommend Dove Cottage highly enough.

Really enjoyed staying in Dove Cottage! The owners called in to make sure I was settled and to see if I needed anything else a kind thing to do and the Sykes booking system was very efficient. Will definitely book for 2024.

We really enjoyed our visit. Comfy bed ,great shower, easy stairs, great position to see all the wonderful sites in North Wales, beautifully decorated, everything we needed to cater for ourselves for 7 relaxing days. It's on a one way street which makes it easy to unload the car. We parked our car 200 metres away in a car park over night from 5pm to 8am. It was just as safe as parked outside the cottage. The town is full of friendly helpful people.

I had a lovely stay in Dove Cottage. It is a quiet, peaceful and comfortable place to stay, with beautiful views of the sunset, and the stars on a clear night. It felt very welcoming to come in to tea and welsh cakes! I can't recommend it highly enough. The town of Ruthin is charming, with lots of independent shops and eateries. The people are lovely and the surrounding countryside stunning and easily accessed. Michelle really went the extra mile letting me stay an extra night when the weather turned extreme with heavy snow, making the roads inpassable! Big thank you.
