Ty Blodau Reviews

We had a lovely short break at Ty Blodau. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and beautifully maintained. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The views are peaceful and the hot tub overlooking the golf course and hills beyond was a tonic. We would happily stay again and highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing break.
Debbie
The house was beautiful and the hot tub was a great for the children. The host messaged and checked in and was so friendly was a lovely touch I would definitely recommend this property.
Kimberley
Was a beautiful house, very modern and in a lovely location. Will definitely go back in the summer.
We had an amazing 2night stay at Ty Blodau. The house was really clean and had plenty of space for a group of 10 people. It was good to have the hottub to use, and also the karaoke machine was a fun feature to have! Only thing I would change would be to add blinds in the master bedroom upstairs. The host was also super helpful with messaging me some recommendations around the area. Thank you!
Great place but master bedroom needs shutters or blinds to stop the early morning sun blasting in. Apart from that it was a fantastic place to stay.
Lovely cottage decorated to a high standard & the views are amazing! The hot tub is a lovely feature overlooking a great view also! Highly recommend Thank you Rebecca
Anthony
We very much enjoyed our recent stay and the facilities were more than adequate for us three adults and one dog. Experienced a couple of problems on arrival, but they were quickly dealt with by Rebecca and Rhys. The property is exactly as per the photos on the website. We have rated as 5 star, but there are a few things that could be added to make this a 5 star plus experience we have fed these back back directly. We found the property a great base for exploring other parts of Wales, particularly Llandudno and Conwy. The local beaches were great and there were some really nice dog walks close the the property. We would have loved to have enjoyed more time in the garden, but the weather wasn't very kind to us during our visit. However, we did appreciate the views from the rear of the property and found it to be in a quiet and peaceful area. The Karaoke machine was a definite bonus on the rainy days! If back in that area of Wales we would definitely return.
We had a fantastic stay! The house was perfect! We will definitely be booking again!
Just returned from a week in this lovely property. Spacious for 6 of us and 2 dogs with modern decor and facilities. The views onto the golf course were perfect when sitting out and relaxing. Located in a smaller village just over a mile from Prestatyn with several pubs, shops and a park. There were plenty of walks to do with the dogs from the house and it was close to Llandudno, Dyserth, Colwyn bay and Prestatyn. There is a lovely dog friendly beach a 5 minute drive from the property and lots of shops and places to eat in Prestatyn. The house and garden are well kept and the owners were extremely helpful and on hand with recommendations when asked. A lovely stay.
We just came back from a week of holiday at Ty Blodau and absolutely enjoyed our stay there! We had 6 adults, 2 children and a dog, the cottage felt spacious even with everyone in the lounge. Ty Blodau has been done up to a high standard with tasteful interior decoration. The biggest hit has to be the hot tub and the Karaoke machine, which kept all of us entertained for ages! Our boys also love the arcade machine in their room! The house is also very well located, with scenic walking trails at our door step very handy for our dog walking! There are several supermarkets really close by too, which provides convenience for a self catering cottage. Rebecca was superb! She was extremely responsive and informative. When we arrived we noticed that the toilet rolls were run out, but 10mins later Rebecca brought a whole pack to our front door! Thank you so much for everything! We will definitely recommend Ty Blodau to anyone who's going to that part of Wales, hopefully we will be back someday!
We had a lovely 3night stay the place is absolutely stunning inside and beautifully decorated. The hot tub was a real treat, and the views were just breathtaking. It's close to all amenities, which made everything super convenient. Would definitely go back highly recommend!

The property is finished to a high standard, had everything we needed and in a great location. The owner kept in touch to make sure we had everything we needed and made some useful recommendations as to where to visit.
We enjoyed our stay. The property has been renovated to a very high standard in a lovely position overlooking a golf course. On the negative side the hot tub wasn't available for the first evening, which was disappointing as we were only there 3 nights. Also there is nowhere near enough seating inside or outside for a property that sleeps up to 10 people.
Malcolm
Fantastic place to stay for a large family . All faultless and clean. Stunning views & hot tub a bonus. Would recommend to all families looking to stay in north Wales. Special thanks to the owners Rhys and Rebecca who made us all feel comfortable and welcome. Many thanks Malcolm and family .
We had a lovely relaxing stay here at Ty Blodau. The property is located in a quiet village and is clean, beautifully styled, open, and welcoming, with everything we needed for our weekend stay. The view of the golf course is the perfect green backdrop against the hillside whilst enjoying the garden & hot tub. A great base for exploring the many attractions North Wales has to offer although our kids were happy playing in the garden and visiting the local park with our 2 senior dogs. The price was very reasonable and the owners kept us informed and answered our queries promptly. Thank you Rebecca & Rhys for a wonderful break, we will return soon!
Five stars aren't enough! ! This was hands down THE best holiday stay we've ever had. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations the place was spotless, tastefully and freshly decorated, and had all the comforts of home, including a music system and large hot tub. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The location was perfect peaceful and scenic with a golf course behind and stunning mountains surrounding, and to top it off even a sea view from the upstairs bedroom. We left feeling relaxed and refreshed. Highly highly recommended! Thank you!!
