We had a gorgeous stay in Dovetail cottage, it's an amazing spot right in the centre of town and an easy walk to everything you could need. It's beautifully decorated and well looked after, very comfy beds and sofa with a huge TV and plenty of pots and pans for cooking. We would really reccomend a visit to Plas Newydd house and grounds and a ride on the steam trains at Llangollen station.

We have stayed here a few times and love Dovetail Cottage. This time, we didnt feel it was quite as clean as in previous visits but this would not stop us from staying here again. Location perfect. Bed comfortable. Great shower. We would love there to be a washing machine! Perfect place for a couple!

We had an amazing time in Llangollen, its a lovely place. Although we were there for a wedding so didnt get chance to explore. We've decided that we are going to go back next year. We will definatly stay in Dovetail cottage again. It has everything you need and very clean. Its home away from home, its an amazing place to stay. It was really cosy but quite warm even with the windows open. Think we will bring a fan next time. You can park at the back of the cottage if you have a small car as it looks as if it could be difficult to turnround. We parked on the community hall car park on Regent road. Its relatively cheap and if over the road from the passageway to the front door. Entrance to back and front door is via a few steps and the key holder is on the door frame on the back door took us a while to find it. There is also a pole for the sky light in the bedroom. The only thing I could ask for and it in no way caused an issue with our stay was there was no full length mirror in either bedroom or bath room. It was only and issue because of us going to a wedding. All in all great cosy place to stay, 10 out 10!!!!! Will be back next year. Ps. have a read of the visitors book, it was lovely see people comments and that a lot returned over many years. Loved the little note from a family and their scotty dog including a little drawing. Sadly after many years there was a sad entry when they returned without their dog. While your at the cottage we would recommend visiting the cornmill resturant lovely food and great staff.

Lovely cosy accommodation. Everything we required was available. The provision of milk, tea and coffee was welcome. Ideally located for the town. Parking is tricky but manageable with a small car.

Our third time at this lovely cottage, its spacious, well equipped, clean, warm and quiet. Great restaurants, pubs, cafes ands shops along with some varied walks and friendly locals.

The cottage is lovely. We have been back every year for some time now. There were some great upgrades to the house since our last stay making it even nicer than before. As ever we had a great time. Awesome place and great hosts.

We absolutely love this cottage. We have stayed twice and would definitely stay again. Cottage is beautiful comfy bed, fully equipped kitchen, gorgeous bathroom with rolltop bath and large walkin shower, perfect location and lovely owners. Cant fault it apart from maybe no washing machine

Characterful little cottage and what a lovely couple who run it. Sadly on our arrival there was no electricity due to workmen digging the path up but this didn't deter us as we went straight out to eat.It was very warm and cosy with some great quirky features.Mr Edwards took time to tell me all about the history of the cottage and old potteries etc.There was even a pint of milk waiting for us so we could have a cuppa after our long journey up to Llan.Loved Mrs Edwards pots and plants, made it like home for me.

This was a very comfortable cottage and much more spacious than we expected. The cottage has been improved since the website photos were taken and has a new kitchen, new stable door, new curtains etc. The location was perfect for us being in a fairly quiet spot but very central to the town. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

The cottage was well maintained and comfortable and we were greeted by the friendly owner owner. It is a stroll to Llangollen and there are also many places of interest nearby. The only downside for me was the awkward road access and small parking space but that maybe says something about my driving.

Comfortable, clean and convenient. Great to find a holiday house with a comfortable sofa so you can properly relax at the end of the day.

Our second visit to this lovely cottage. Clean, comfortable, in a quiet location but near to quaint shops, cafes and pubs. Also a great area for walks by the canal.

We had a lovely, comfortable stay at Dovetail Cottage. It was close to all the amenities and we would definitely recommend it to others.

It was absolutely perfect, great location, friendly hosts, cute & quaint & very comfortable. The only thing that might make it a bit easier is if there was some form of clothes storage for the mezzanine floor bedroom. Would definitely go back & recommend to others.

Lovely, comfortable cottage ideally situated, 5 minutes walk to centre of Llangollen , yet set in quiet location in owners grounds. Would return.

It would have been helpful to have WiFi code and password written in the visitors guide book rather than having to look at back of router! ! Also to have instructions what to do with the recycling bin rubbish at end of holiday!!

What a beautiful place to stay! Absolutely stunning cottage and such lovely hosts. We will DEFINITELY stay here again. Beautifully decorated and furnished and extremely cosy and comfortable. A few cobwebs in the main bedroom but we know that is to be expected in an old property and it certainly has not put us off staying there again.

Absolutely gorgeous cottage and ideally located. Really warm and snug!!! We couldn't fault anything about the decor and comfort of the cottage and it was immaculately clean. Just a very small observation. Personally, we would have preferred a small slimline dishwasher and not such a large fridge freezer. However, this would not deter us from staying in the cottage in the future. We absolutely loved it.

The cottage was perfect for our long weekend break. Ideal location, access to the main street via the alleycourtyard. The cottage was spotless with everything you could possibly need inside. The owners even put some fresh milk in the fridge for our arrival. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay there again.

Lovely rustic and unusual period property built in 1760! situated very close to the centre of Llangollen but set back in a quiet location. Ideally situated for the nearby steam railway, canal side walks and the Pontcysyllte viaduct etc. Fabulous bathroom and comfortable bed.

Beautiful cosy cottage in the perfect location for exploring Llongollen. Cottage has been beautifully renovated with lovely decor throughout and was immaculately clean. Gets a big 10 out of 10 from me. The only thing missing was a dishwasher, but hubby came with, so we had that covered!

A beautiful property and Id happily recommend it. We couldnt get the electric fire to turn on at all. The radiator in the lounge on the bedroom wall worked intermittently. A kitchen tap dripped. Plenty of towels available which was great Also, we didnt realise until the last day that games were available in the lounge cupboard. Might be worth noting something in the welcome book None of these are criticisms. Just giving feedback in case the owner was unaware.

A beautiful cottage, perfectly situated to the town. Had everything we needed and more from ironhairdryer to jigsawsbooks. Watch out for the slightly lower doorframe to the bedroom, caught my husband out a couple of times. Would definately stay again without question. Excellent property.
