No. 9 On The Riverbank Reviews

Number9 was most definitely on the riverbank providing both views and the sound of the river as background to our stay. The cottage was awesome, spacious, well maintained with all the facilities to make your stay perfect. There was a welcoming pack of goodies including milk, real coffee, cake and orange juice which is very thoughtful. The bed was very comfortable and with the river in the background our stay was very restful. As many stayers at Number9 we will be back. PS parking was NOT an issue with the car parking permit it is a insignificant inconvenience to what was a fantastic stay. Thank you
Benjamin
This has been one of the best cottages we've stayed in. Great location near the town and walks, and we loved our evenings sat by the river. It was really well equipped with everything we needed, and a few extras. Were looking Forward to staying again.
Our second stay number at 9 The Riverbank & cannot fault anything. Centrally located in Llangollen and backing onto the River Dee with two lovely patios to relax in. Open, airy, spacious, well equipped, clean & comfortable. Daily parking permits & Council car parks all paid for if busy. The owner welcoming & helpful with a lovely welcome pack, thank you. Cannot wait to return.
Lovely property, tucked away right on the river and easy access to the town centre and all the local restaurants pubs. The house itself was clean, comfortable and well catered for, with everything you could need whilst away. Only downside was one of the neighbours. They were friendly enough, however they persistently had loud music radio playing from early in the morning to late at night, which wasnt great when you have an 18 month old trying to sleep, or wanted a relaxing break. In the end, we left 2 days earlier than planned.

Lovely property in great location.
Stunning property with everything you need, so close to the center with all the amenities and more you need. Cottage is well thought out patio at the back is great for people watching on the canoes. Bed is so comfy I wanted to take it home, Owner was very helpful whenif we needed information. I also like that the owner was very environmentally friendly and asked for the recycling to be bagged up and they would remove. Looking at coming back next year!!
Denette

Lovely property ,great location in a lovely town with the fabulous country side on your doorstep. We booked last minute and host put herself out for us to make our stay so enjoyable, thanks Nicki. Would definitely recommend and hope to revisit in the near future.
Lovely cottage in great location! Everything as described and lots to do within walking distance.

The perfect hidden little nook to stay in Llangollen! We stayed at No. 9 for around two weeks with a toddler, and the space worked extremely well for our needs. Lovely views of the river, nice and quiet, and very comfortable! We found the kitchen in particular very well stocked with pots pans, etc. We were very easily able to cook for ourselves while juggling a toddler!
Jackie
Very comfortable cottage with everything you would need. Lovely view from the cottage. Enclosed patio so was safe for dogs.
We had a lovely week in Llangollen. The cottage is very cozy and comfortable. With gorgeous views over the river It really is a home from home. The welcome pack was very good. It is in a great location with everything on the doorstep. This was our first time visiting this gorgeous place but it certainly wont be our last.
We enjoyed our stay despite the awful weather. The cottage is comfortable and warm and was so well equipped. Have never stayed in Llangollen before and found it an amazing walking area, so beautiful. Will definitely return and would highly recommend staying here
Parking a problem every thing else ok
Another wonderful relaxing stay in Llangollen. Perfectly placed cottage, stroll to lots of nice pubs, shops and of course the river! Or just sit in the beautifully presented cottage and look at the river and castle out of the window. Perfect place to relax. Cottage had everything we needed for a family holiday with a teenager and dogs. Plus a lovely helpful owner who was very forgiving when we went home with the extremely useful parking permit. Sorry!
Monica
What a lovely cottage very close to all amenities and with wonderful views. So much to do in the town. Lovely walks or bike rides along the canal. We will hopefully be back in the future and will stay longer next time.
Donald Wayne
Our accommodation here is beautifully situated on the River Dee. The living room has a French balcony that opens up for great views of the river and town. There are two patios front and back. The kitchen works well and has everything one needs. Ice cubes were in the freezer on arrival. A welcome basket of eggs, bread, milk and juice was waiting for us. The tv is large screen and gets a lot of channels. WiFi works well. There is a wood burning stove but it was too hot to use this week. Upstairs there are two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a small double. A fan would be appreciated on the hot nights as the bedroom can get quite warm even with the window open. The shower, while small, always had hot water. There is no toilet paper roll holder which makes it somewhat awkward. Only one roll of toilet paper was provided for a full weeks stay! The neighbour was very friendly, but he does like to play his music all day. It is very quiet for sleeping in the evening.
Denise
A beautiful cottage with all the facilities you need in a perfect location.
Beautiful cottage. Great position above the river. Loved the area, great walking and lots of dog friendly pubs, cafes and restaurants to try.
We are frequent visitors to Llangollen and this was by far the best place weve ever stayed in,the Cottage is beautiful and very homely,it had everything we needed and was literally a stones throw away from the center, communication from the owners was top notch and they made sure our stay went without a hitch, will definitely return soon. .
