The area is outstanding for outdoor activities. Whitewater rafting on the River Dee is available with expert tuition. Oneplanet Adventure has some of the best mountain bike trails in the UK just nearby. Offa's Dyke Path passes close by too. The pub next door The Sun Trevor is run by the owner and serves home-cooked food and real local ales.
