Sun Trevor Barns 3 is a three-bedroom barn conversion on the outskirts of Trevor near Llangollen in Denbighshire. Rolling valley views come as standard here and the setting is genuinely special the Vale of Llangollen with its mountain backdrop and the boulder-strewn River Dee right on your doorstep. Note: this property does not have a hot tub.

The area is outstanding for outdoor activities. Whitewater rafting on the River Dee is available with expert tuition. Oneplanet Adventure has some of the best mountain bike trails in the UK just nearby. Offa's Dyke Path passes close by too. The pub next door The Sun Trevor is run by the owner and serves home-cooked food and real local ales.

The barn sleeps six across three bedrooms. A ground-floor super-king en-suite has a walk-in shower. Two first-floor super-king rooms also have en-suites one with a bath and a triple bunk making it a proper family room. All beds are zip-link and can convert to twins.

Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is 5 miles away (10 mins). Llangollen Railway steam trains are a short drive. Chirk Castle is within easy reach (8 miles, 15 mins). Ruthin Gaol Museum is 15 miles away (25 mins).
