We recently stayed at Berwyn Barns and honestly, it was such a lovely experience. The location is truly stunning, set in a quiet, breathtaking landscape that's perfect for walks and mountain biking right from the doorstep. The scenery is just perfect for unwinding. The barns themselves have been beautifully renovated - they've kept that charming character with stonework and beams, which gives them a cosy, authentic feel. Inside, they're super comfortable and well-equipped, making it easy to settle in. We were surprised how warm and cosy they stayed, even when the weather was a bit gloomy - though we did get some sunshine during our Easter week! The owners live just across the farm and are genuinely friendly, happy to chat and share stories about hill farming - our grandkids loved meeting the farm animals. We had a really lovely stay at this spacious and comfy place. The location is perfect for enjoying peaceful countryside views and the scenery is just stunning. The hosts greeted us warmly and were super friendly, taking the time to chat and offer some great tips on local restaurants and sights to see. They went out of their way to make the kids feel involved, especially with that sheep shearing experience - the kids loved jumping on the fleece during packing! Driving around the country lanes was such a treat; every turn brought new beautiful views, or you'd find pheasants scurrying into the hedges.
