We loved our stay at ty coch. Perfect for a girly get together. Clean and comfortable with a luxury feel. Im sure we will be back again sometime.
Excellent property. Had everything we needed, was in a good location & overall provided very comfortable accommodation. The hot tub was an added bonus. Leah the host was very helpful and friendly, thanks.
Beautiful place to stay and we will go back.
Beautiful house, great space both indoors and out. Very clean, beds really comfy. Short easy walk to the town. Lovely arrival pack. Host very responsive and friendly. Would definitely recommend.
Thomas
Beautiful accommodation & well equipped & spotless! Lovely peaceful area to stay! LEAH who owns the property came & introduced herself which was a lovely
Ty Coch was very clean, well equipped, spacious and comfortable. The owner, Leah, was very helpful and provided a welcome pack that was much appreciated. The area is perfect for exploring cities, towns and countryside, with great scenery and opportunities for walking in a variety of landscapes. We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks and would highly recommend it! Our top tip If you want to visit Liverpool, as we did, drive to Port Sunlight and you can park for free very near the Station. The train costs 5.05 for an adult return on the Metro and the journey only takes about 15 minutes each way. Great value and avoids the city centre.
Gorgeous property with everything you need, luxurious furnishings which gives comfort and relaxation, the hot tub was a real bonus and Leah maintained it everyday, she is so friendly and also discreet and respectful to your holiday stay. Ideally situated to explore north wales, we had a gorgeous time.
Kathryn
We had a lovely stay at the ty coch! The house is lovely and very comfortable.
Very warm welcome. Very clean, comfy and well equipped accommodation. Hot tub well maintained all week. 20 min walk to the town which had everything you need from museums and history to quaint shops and places to eat. Good base to get around North Wales. Highly recommended.
We really enjoyed our stay at Ty Coch. It was clean, beautifully decorated and in a lovely location. It was a great base for exploring North Wales. The children especially liked the hot tub! Would definitely recommend this cottage to friends and family.
We stayed at this beautiful cottage for 3 nights in June. The cottage has been refurbished to such a high standard and very stylish. We felt exceedingly spoilt and rested during our stay here. It had everything we needed and more! The Hot Tub was so enjoyable to sit in with a lovely view of the fields and sheep at the rear of the garden. Its in such a pretty area and was 1 hour from Snowdon which we climbed whilst there. I would not hesitate to come back here in the future and would definately reccommend to anyone considering staying here.
Elizabeth
Had a brilliant week at the property. Great location, plenty of day trips in the area including ones buggy accessible.
Hayley
Wonderful property with everything you could need. The owners are always on hand to support and nothing is too much trouble. My son is autistic with severe learning disabilities he absolutely loves it here. As it is open plan aswell im able to see him all through the ground floor up to the garden. The hot tub was amazing and the view is wonderful. Thank you for a lovely holiday.
We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Ty Coch. It was an ideal base for our visit to see family and friends in the area and had everything we needed for our holiday. Ty Coch has been skilfully renovated and stylishly furnished. It was clean and offers a very comfortable base to return to after days out. The hot tub and patio is situated looking out at the field above at we had the added bonus of watching lambs playing in the fields at this time of year. Ty Coch is conveniently situated in a beautiful area on the outskirts of the picturesque market town of Ruthin, and just a two minute drive from Cae Ddol park, Ruthin tennis club, a golf driving range and the Footgolf Centre. It is ideally situated to be able to have day trips to all the surrounding attractions in North Wales. Thank you Leah, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Ty Coch.
Thank you for a much needed break. Hopefully see you again sometime soon.
An absolutely fantastic cottage! Everything you could wish for and more a real home from home with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break away.
Leah was so friendly and gave us some great recommendations. When she realised we had young grandchildren visiting she provided a high chair and travel cot which saved us lord of car space! Lovely few days making lasting memories thank you
Beverley
We had a fabulous week in Ty Coch. The cottage is perfect...clean, comfy, beautifully renovated and extended with wonderful views. Generous goodies on arrival which were delicious! Leah is very friendly and approachable and the next door neighbour is lovely. Ruthin is a friendly town with quirky shops and good food. We would love to stay again and definitely recommend a visit.
This is most certainly one of the best cottages we have ever stayed in. Modern and spacious and retains the character of the original building. Clean and tidy and everything you need. Hot tub an added bonus. Quiet, peaceful location yet within easy driving distance of Chester Zoo, Liverpool and Portmeirion. So much to do round and about we didnt have enough time to do everything. Chester Oak Retail outlet and Blue Planet Aquarium also worth visiting. Leah was a great host and great welcome pack on arrival. Got to mention Carlitos pizza van. Superb choices and value for money. Will most certainly return again.
Hayley
Wonderful property. The owner was lovely and was always available to help. The views were amazing
Beautiful cottage, lovely garden, hot tub and very quiet area. Was lovely waking up to sheep outside. Very helpful and welcoming hosts!! Everything was just perfect and we felt very comfortable. We hope to book this property again!
We had a fantastic stay at Ty Coch the cottage was delightful and had everything we needed. The only downside was the overall cleanliness of the property. There were unclean dishes in the cupboards and the floors were quite dusty in places. The outside area required quite a bit of sweeping and tidying before we could use it.
Enjoyed our time at Ty Coch. Lovely area. House was nice and comfortable. Photographs accurate, however there is no downstairs cloakroom & we would not of booked this property if the Sykes description had been accurate. This is due to one member of our family having mobility issues. You need to take your own towels for the hot tub. Again it would benefit any guest to have that fact noted in the description as I note that previous guests have also mentioned this. Property also needs a washing line where do you expect wet costumes to dry We unfortunately would not book this property again but only due to the fact that there is no downstairs cloakroom. Disabled accommodation is not required just a downstairs loo which the sykes description says it has! Other than that we can recommend Ty Coch as a lovely place to stay. Owner is nearby for any issues but not intrusive at all.
Lovely weekend stay with 2 adults & 3 children 15,12 &8. Property as shown on listing and really lovely to stay in. Local area has plenty of points of interest and some good pubs all require a short drive. Very likely to stay again sometime
Beautiful property, perfectly located, quiet location, sheep and cats very entertaining
This cottage was amazing! Decorated well to perfection and well equipped with everything you needed. My children had so much fun exploring the garden, walking down to the sheep and lambs near by and of course the hot tub. Leah was just a message away if we needed anything. The welcome pack was super cute! Thank you. We stayed here for 7 days and was able to check in a little early too. While here we visited the town, local parks, Chester zoo, Rhyl beach and town and Ruthin castle which was really good and also free! It was a quiet town but it was great! Its what you make of it at the end of the day. We all had a great time and hope to visit again in the future.
Loved staying at Ty Coch with the family really enjoyed the hot tub and the location. Leah was on hand if needed and was really helpful and will have no hesitation booking Ty Coch again if looking to stay in Ruthin.
Beverley
Really lovely holiday cottage. Everything you need is catered for there, a lovely little welcome produce pack on arrival. Leah is super accommodating, with any help you may need. It's a great location, if your looking to explore North Wales. Its nice that it feels rural with the lounge looking out onto feilds. Its only a 5mins drive to the town with lots of amenities. Love to go back in the warmer months to make full use of the garden and hot tub.
Natalie
Great cottage and lovely stay.
Andrew
The cottage renovation is really well done and the furnishings are stylish. Hot tub great. The cottage is very well placed to discover all North Wales has to offer, Ruthin is a fabulous place with great amenities, places to eat etc. Also close enough to walk into town. My only issue was the cleanliness it could have been better, I am very fussy though, so may not be an issue unless you are particularly obsessed with dirt like me cupboards had crumbs in them, and I had to disinfect the kitchen cupboard door handles. A bit dusty and cobwebby in places. I did try to hoover but the hoover was full and the hose extension was missing. This was a minor issue and is easily rectified. Other than that little niggle, it was good.
Sharon
Fantastic cottage, modernised to a very high standard, hot tub a great bonus. Location ideal for all trips and amenities. Wales was beautiful.
Angela
The cottage is very stylish and comfortable and has everything you could need with the added bonus of the hottub, perfect to relax in after a busy day sightseeing! The cottage is perfectly situated for exploring North Wales, the Snowdonia National Park and Chester Zoo. Leah is a lovely host and close at hand if you need her. The welcome pack on arrival was a lovely touch! Would definitely recommend a stay here!
Beautiful cottage in a lovely part of North Wales.
Amanda
This property is a wonderful place to stay. The house was perfect, it has everything you need. Our 1yr old boy loved the garden so much space for him to run around. The adults loved the hot tub and so did kids. We loved the hamper that we were greeted with when we arrived. It had bread, eggs and a lovely cake and leaflets of activities we could do.So much to do around the area. Leah the host popped over to say hello on our first night. Which was really lovely. We will definitely book again.
What an amazing cottage. As much as the pictures online are great, when you walk through the door you are taken a back a little bit as the place is stunning, so nicely decorated, with a great flow to it. The cottage was really comfortable and all the natural light in the surroundings was also really nice. The hot tub was also a great addition after exploring this lovely part of the country. Leah was a great host, and provided detailed information on things to do and places to eat. Thanks for having us, me and my family had such a nice time.
Thomas
A stunning ,well kept , modern property in a great location ... A stunning ,well kept , modern property in a great location Very welcomed goodies left for us on arrival We had a visit from the owner on our first night to say hello which was lovely of her to pop by and make sure everything was ok for us We had a few visits to Ruthin and found the local shop keepers very friendly we would definitely recommend this property , and hopefully return at some point in the future many thanks Lesley x
Melanie
Wow wow wow! What an amazing property, from the moment we stepped into the entrance hall the ambience of the cottage relaxes you completely. The cottage was the immaculate and so clean. The design and comfort of the furniture, beds etc were so comfortable. Leah the owner was so friendly and we saw her daily doing the maintenance of the hot tub.. The hot tub itself was a good one , plenty of power, spacious and with changeable colour lights. The situation of the cottage was on the outskirts of Ruthin which is a lovely historical town with lots of independent shops. The area of North Wales is so beautiful with so many things to do and areas to explore we can't wait to come back and would like to see the area in the summer months. This is one of the best cottages that we have ever stayed in. There was only 1 sml minor thing that I would suggest for an improvement and that is the addition of some large hot tub towels maybe in colours so they can be recognised instantly as hot tub towels only. We bought our own from a local supermarket. Also wanted to say thankyou for the lovely welcome hamper and the leaflets of attractions. Very helpful. Many thanks for a wonderful holiday. Melanie Tom and the boys
We had a fantastic stay. Spacious property, very well maintained. Lovely outside area with hot tub. Very comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend it.
Ty Coch is an excellently presented property in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The fact that this was our second visit this year reflects our high regard for it, its owner and her hospitality.
This is a beautifully kept little cottage, much bigger than it appears from the outside. We found the kitchen to be well equipped and the addition of the washing machine sorry helpful after beach trips. Leah was welcoming and very helpful in suggesting things we might like to do. The cottage feels nicely remote whilst only being a few minutes drive from local villagers Ruthin. Further afield there is so much to do, we particularly loved walking the town walls in Denbigh free, just a 5 deposit for the keys from the castle or library, the milkshakes vending machine on the way to Denbigh, Rhyl beautiful beach, water park and the Welsh Mountain Zoo. Even in a week we felt like we had so much we didn't get round to doing. I think anyone who stayed here would have a wonderful time!
