Fishermans Cottage, Prestatyn

We had 3 nights at Fisherman's Cottage and got the 'r & r' that we wanted and needed. It's a charming place, but the garden was the best bit for us and we utilised it to the max. It's a short walk to the sea front at Prestatyn, and we also visited Rhyl. We would recommend a stay at the cottage

Fantastic cosy cottage with everything you could want. Hot tub amazing. Very clean No nasty smells. Arcade machine was fun. Perfect for me and my partner and the dog. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back. Thankyou Mark, Diane and barney.

What a beautiful little place, so cosy with everything you need and more. Loved the history of the cottage, hence the name.A stunning little getaway with shops, pubs, cafes and the beach so nearby.

Rating We had a brilliant stay at Fishermans Cottage. The checkin was incredibly easy, and we were able to park the car and not move it once until we left to go home! The location is unbeatable. We were under a 10minute stroll as the dog likes to have a good sniff to the beach, we spent our days walking along the sandy beaches to Barkby Beach and along the coastal path past the golf club, and in the other direction was Ffrith Beach all the way to Rhyl. It was a lovely 4mile walk to Rhyl along the sandy coastal path and we then got the train back aa our dog is 12 and couldnt manage the 4 miles back! Prestatyn town centre is only about half a mile away, with plenty of bars, restaurants, and shops like Marks & Spencer and Tesco. It was also so convenient having a Coop and a Greggs right across the road for quick essentials. Coming back to relax in the well equipped cottage, with everything you need, the host left us some nice treats, biscuits, bottles of water, tea bags milk in the fridge and even a couple of cheeky beers for the hot tub thank you!! the bed was so comfy, the log burner made the evenings so cosy, shower nice and powerful. After all the walking the hot tub was a great way to relax and chill out, the outdoor space was perfect, even the bistro table in the small garden was nice to have a cuppa in a morning, very dog friendly, Apart from parking on the main road and having to carry lots of bags on the gravel path to the cottage it would not put me off retuning. A perfect base for exploring Prestatynwe highly recommend it!

A perfect getaway. Everything was thought of. Cosy and comfortable and in reach of decent shops for supplies. A short stroll from the beach front and arcade. The properly was impeccably clean and furnished to a very high standard. The outdoor space was lovely and the hot tub is a real treat. Bedrooms are spacious with enough room for clothes etc. My daughter spent hours playing on the games machine in her room. Absolutely no issues with heating or the likes during our stay and we did pay for a bag of logs for the fire which our dog spent each evening curled up in front of. We absolutely loved our stay and will recommend it to all friends and family. Thank you

What an amazing holiday. The cottage is so beautiful, very clean and cosy! A full functioning kitchen which was lovely to have. The garden & outdoor spaces were just perfect. The host was so kind and helpful nothing was too much to ask! I would highly recommend booking this cottage for a getaway. Lots of lovely walks near by, very close to excellent takeawayspubs and the beach is so close. Very dog friendly! Will be booking again soon.

Lovely, well looked after home. Small but perfectly adequate for a week. Quality furnishings, bedding etc... Log burner was a big plus

Lovely comfortable cottage

Absolutely beautiful cottage, the garden and hot tub was a bonus, would definitely recommend this place, will be back in the future. The only negative is there was no cleaning equipment but my family are ocd, so this is just a personal preference. Dressing gowns are a bonus but do need replacing.

Beautiful cottage, warm and cozy. The private garden and hot tub was lovely. Also the arcade was a great bonus. Close walk to the beach and a small waterfall only 10 minutes drive.

It would make it easier if you was aware of where the garden was on your arrival, also as I recommend in the book when leaving, maybe to put a sign up saying, if you use the BBQ please clean after use, this is because as we went to use the BBQ it was very dirty so we had to clean it before we used it. Other than that it was great.

Cleanliness wasnt up to my standards but the host did come and clean over the bathroom again which was amazing of him. But the rest of the house was very dusty and cobwebs everywhere. Everything else was perfect for us in cottage. Thank you

Excellent stay. Perfect location 5 mins to centre. Everything we needed were in the cottage,excellent facilities. Comfortable beds and sofa. Highly reccomend.

Wonderful cottage, fantastic garden, near the beach which was lovely

We had a lovely stay at Fishermans Cottage. A lot of thought has gone into the decoration and dressing of this cottage which added to the welcome feel. The garden however made the holiday for us. It was a wonderful private space with a superb hot tub and a good size BBQ, the perfect sun trap for relaxing and reading a book. For Info The quickest way to get to the beach is via the caravan park. Just cross over Victoria Road onto Coniston Drive, turn left at the t junction and follow public footpath sign on opposite side of road. You can easily walk it in around 57 Mins. This is a fantastic cottage with all the amenities you need for a relaxing break. Note no microwave so plan meals accordingly. Brilliant top of the range Ninja air fryer. Hot tub is wonderful and the garden is a little slice of paradise! Note not attached to cottage can be accessed down a short gravel path and padlocked for privacy. All the beds and linen are really high quality. The cottage is full of fishing nicknacks very quirky Would highly recommend
