The Nest, Prestatyn

I had a wonderful time at The Nest. Fantastic owner who communicated kindly and helpfully before and during my stay and who wants you to have the best time. This is also reflected in the quality of the accommodation. Its secluded so you can enjoy peace and tranquility but also you have lots close by even if you are on foot or travelling by public transport. Local train and bus station. Multiple supermarkets, bars and places to eat. The views from The Nest out to sea and over Prestatyn and Rhyl are stunning. The local walking paths are fantastic, especially the coastal one. Claire was very kind and left me local produce to try in the form of various food and drink, especially the goodbye gift. Its so well thought out as its not only the kindest of gestures but everything being local makes it feel unique. Inside The Nest, the cleanliness is pristine. The furnishings are modern and stylish. The bed is the most comfortable you could wish for. The strong heating system and sauna means youll never go cold even in winter. The huge smart television in the lounge with many apps was perfect to relax with in the evenings. Theres a lot of thought and care that has gone into The Nest. I enjoyed a truly memorable stay and look forward to being a returning guest in the future. Thanks.

We loved our stay here! Claire was fab and we really appreciated the little touches for the birthday weekend! The place is beautiful, clean & perfect for our weekend away. Claire was the perfect hostdiscreet but highly communicative. From the prearrival welcome to the thoughtful bottle of anniversary prosecco, every detail was handled beautifully. The nest was cozy, the outdoor sauna was a highlight, and Claires local tips for dining and exploring were spot on. Highly recommended!

This is a charming and well thought out property, ideal for two. Overall it was immaculately kept and the private sauna at the back was very welcome. It is situated attractively overlooking Prestatyn, in countryside with a fascinating history, but access to restaurants and supermarkets is good. The owner is helpful and friendly.

Claire was an amazing host who was always there to help with any questions. There was loads of information on places to visit or the best places to eat so we were always able to go out and enjoy it to the most. It was very clean and very well thought out. Everything had a special touch such as the brownies and the fresh milk from the farm. The location was very easy to get to and was absolutely stunning overlooking the town and the beautiful beach. There was everything you needed in The Nest and more! Lovely time!

We had a wonderful stay at this The Nest. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the area and enjoy everything nearby. The host was incredibly welcoming and friendly, which made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The facilities were greatwell maintained, comfortable, and everything we needed was provided. We had such a lovely stay at The Nest in December. As soon as we arrived it was super clean and tidy, and Claire had made it feel really welcoming. Shed put a little board out with our names Skye and Jack and left some pop with fancy glasses which was such a cute touch. She also left us some strawberries and milk from Mynydd Mostyn Dairy and recommended we try their milkshakes which we did and they were so good! The place was all decorated for Christmas and shed even left us some treeshaped biscuits which made it feel really cosy and festive. Claire showed us around when we got there and made sure we knew how everything worked. She also checked in with us every so often to make sure we were okay, which was really nice and made us feel looked after without being over the top. The Nest itself was so warm and cosy, especially with the underfloor heating. It was such a relaxing break. We even had two squirrel visitors and gave them some nuts that Claire had left in a jar by the door, which was really sweet. When we left, she gave us a little treat to take home which just topped everything off. Honestly such a nice stay and wed definitely come back

We had such a wonderful stay at Claire and Brendans annex in Prestatyn. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel instantly welcome. They greeted us personally when we got there, and when we entered the annex we were met with so many thoughtful touches fresh strawberries in the fridge, a lovely bottle of Prosecco, fresh milk, and bottled water. It set the tone for a perfect weekend. The annex itself was spotless, comfortable, and cosy. The mattress was beautifully firm and gave us a great nights sleep. We stayed here to celebrate my girlfriends 24th birthday, and Claire and Brendan made the experience feel truly special. They were always available whenever we needed anything at one point we couldnt figure out how to turn the sauna on, and Brendan came over straight away to help. Their friendliness and warmth really stood out. Even when we were leaving, they surprised us with delicious Welsh cakes and jam such a thoughtful gesture that meant a lot. Its the little things they do that make a big difference. We genuinely felt looked after throughout the whole stay. We would absolutely book with them again next time were in North Wales. Highly recommended!

Fantastic accommodation with all the amenities you would need. It was clean and comfortable with some luxury touches. The sauna was a unique offering which we thoroughly enjoyed. Claire was extremely helpful emailing suggestions of places to visit and eat. She was there when we arrived and when we left and gave us a lovely gift on departure. We would definitely recommend The Nest and will hopefully be returning.

We booked a little getaway at The Nest for our first wedding anniversary, and from start to finish it was truly perfect. From the moment we booked, Claire, our host, went above and beyond to make everything special. She sent us a lovely welcome email, and when I mentioned it was our oneyear anniversary and asked for recommendations for romantic spots and things to do nearby, she was incredible she went the extra mile to help us plan the most memorable weekend. Claire checked in regularly to make sure everything was okay without ever being intrusive, and she even surprised us with a little anniversary gift, which was such a thoughtful touch and meant so much to us. The Nest itself was immaculate and equipped with everything you could possibly need. It had some really cool features that made it stand out the secure electric gate for the car gave us peace of mind, the builtin speakers were perfect for setting the mood, and the sauna was just amazing for relaxing together in the evenings. Claire was only ever a text away if we needed anything, which made everything feel effortless and so welcoming. We honestly couldnt have asked for a better stay. It was romantic, cozy, and so well thoughtout in every way. Well definitely be visiting again highly, highly recommend!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Nest, we were looking for a quiet place to just chill and it gave us that in every way. It was close enough to walk to all amenities and an excellent location to explore the surrounding area. We had a really lovely welcome from Claire the host on our arrival, she made sure we were happy and comfortable with everything and then left us to relax. Her care and attention was greatly appreciated and all we had to do if we needed anything was drop her a message, not that we had to, because everything was perfect. We will be back and we will certainly recommend it to others.

We have never stayed anywhere so beautiful spotlessly clean. The extra gifts left by Claire for our anniversary was such a lovely gesture. There is nothing more you could ask for everything is home from home and we were so comfortable. Had an absolutely lovely stay! From the minute we turned up to the minute we left, we could tell Claire had gone above and beyond! For us the best feature though was the little sauna area!! Every day after coming back from out and about, we would relax in the sauna. For sure, the best way to recouperate after those long walks! They even provided a cooling off shower outside.

Really stunning place to stay very helpful hosts anything you need they are there for you. Theres everything you need to stay in this pictures place. I cant describe in words how nice the property is from the moment you get there you feel like home I would recommend any of my friends to stay here they would love it and we will be going back

Would recommend this property. We received a very friendly welcome from Claire herself and welcome treats were lovely too. The nest has everything you need and was very clean and tidy. Loved the lighting inside and out it was very impressive. If you are looking at this I guess you are thinking of booking it so I would say go ahead you wont be disappointed. Lovely welcome ,great walks ,local to amenities. I would recomend this place excellent for a relaxing break ,area was so peaceful ,the owner was so helpful,we were given lots of information on places to go and things to look out for , the beach was in walking distance .Bottle of preseco with strawberries on arrival also fresh farm supplied milk ,nothing was too much trouble fantastic break.

We had a great stay at The Nest. The accommodation was very clean and exactly as described. The location is fantastic and a good base to explore Northern Wales. Claire was very friendly and attentive, she was very responsive and beyond helpful to all our queries. Thank you for the shortbread and Prosecco too. The nest was in pristine condition ideal location for walkers . Pubs and restaurants close by 3 beachs golf course water falls our host Claire was super knowledgeable about the area helpful and friendly without being intrusive welcome pack very much appreciated also our private sauna was an added bonus we would highly recommend the nest. Really peaceful and beautiful location. The Nest has everything you could wish for and a bit more very modern and comfortable. Claire is a fantastic host and was on hand for anything we needed. There are lots of wonderful walks from The Nest and the beaches, all within walking distance too, are some of the best weve seen in the UK. Had an amazing week!

Relaxing Sanctuary I stayed at the Nest with my partner for 4 nights, I can honestly say this is the best self catering accommodation weve stayed in. My partner is very picky, he loved the modern high spec design, he quickly felt cosy and at home in the Nest. The Nest is perfectly formed, the design, attention to detail and a wonderful garden that creates the indooroutdoor feel. Being suana fans, to have one nestled away was a real treat that we thoroughly enjoyed. Sitting out in the garden with a coffee listening to the birds, watching the squirrels was a zen like relaxing treat from my usual pace of life. We are quite active, when we could pull ourselves away from the garden the location was great for walks right on the Nest doorstep. Claire is a lovely host, a friendly welcome when we arrived, fountain of great local information. Lovely welcome treats such as cookies i think i got one bite as my partner ate them, prosecco which happened to be one of my favourites and fresh milk with welsh tea and coffee added to the attentive attention to detail. Nothing was too much trouble, on our way back from a long walk we messaged asking for a couple of sun loungers and towels. We arrived back to the Nest 10 minutes later and we had two loungers set up on the patio and towels. Packing up to head home today it was a first for us to be sat contemplating looking into staying for another night or two. Thats tells us how much we enjoyed our stay at the Nest and we are already talking dates when we plan to return. Claire was there to say goodbye, wish us a safe journey and parting gift of Welsh cakes. Thank you for making our break extra special.

Simply perfect! This is probably the best self catering accommodation we have stayed in, in 25 years! Everything we could have wanted for a relaxing break on the beautiful north Wales coast. Claire was a fantastic host, providing recommendations for places to visit and local restaurants before we arrived and always on hand during our stay if we needed anything. The property is finished to a VERY high standard with lots of extra touches that made our stay really special. We will definitely book again.

I have been using Sykes Cottages for holiday locations for over 12 years now and although every holiday has been very good, the stay at the Nest was exceptional. The location was breathtaking with nature walks on your doorstep,the accommodation was first class with every facility catered for in this beautifully laid out cabin. Outside Sauna, Barbecue and very friendly squirrels were all available. The cleanliness of the location and the genuine friendliness of the owners was a joy to be hold.

Upon arrival Claire was there to meet us and show us around the nest. Claire was a fantastic host and would do anything to help. Now as for the Nest, we'll it is fantastic, everything is there a real home from home. The property is upto date fresh clean and all mod cons ,the main room leads to the bedroom and onsuit shower and wc all Finished to a top standard. Then the sauna is such a bonus with its ambient lighting ,Bluetooth speaker it just finished the whole package. My wife and I came for a rest away from it all and the nest gave us that and a whole lot more. The wild life is fantastic to watch and there are nuts to feed the energetic squirrels run around as you just chill and take it all in at your own pace. This has been a fantastic holiday and Claire should be proud of what she has created. We have already booked again. Jane and I have only great things to say about the nest, and think the people who book here will say exactly the same. Thank you Claire.

From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by stunning natural beauty and complete tranquility. The cabin itself was immaculate, spacious, cozy, beautifully decorated and equipped with all modern amenities. The fully stocked kitchen made it easy to prepare meals. Wildlife sightings added to the charm, making us feel truly immersed in nature. The hosts were exceptional, friendly, responsive, and thoughtful, providing everything we needed to make our stay memorable. If youre looking for a peaceful escape to recharge, this cabin is the perfect spot. Whether for a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or even a solo retreat, its an experience you wont forget. The Nest is amazing. We were welcomed by the owner Claire who made sure we knew where everything was. The prosecco and chocolate was a nice surprise, and well received. We were so comfortable, always keen to return each day and relax in first class facilities. The sauna was a nice way to relax after a full day of walking. We will definitely be returning to the Nest during a warmer season to appreciate the outdoor facilities.

Where do I start about this dream holiday! Wow! What an absolutely stunning property in the most beautiful setting! The view was just amazing it looked like our own secret hideaway in the forest. We were greeted by 4 squirrels, so my girls were really excited! Then even more excited to see that Claire had left them strawberry milkshakes and mini cupcakes!! We loved how cosy it was, made even more so by the underfloor heating and fantastic lighting and the electric log burner. I loved that every detail had been thought of from the nuts to feed the squirrels, the log burner being for show so the kids didn't burn themselves, and the sign and flowers welcoming us. It was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean and tidy on arrival. Everything was provided for us to keep it this way too. There were robes and slippers for us to use in the sauna and a beautiful collection of aromatherapy oils. The sauna was wonderful and much appreciated addition, when we were after a fun, but relaxing holiday. I left there feeling so much better and after a long and stressful half term, it was just what we needed! The girls loved playing the board games, watching TV and most of all being outside feeding the squirrels and exploring the area. Even when it rained, the girls were having the best holiday. Claire was a perfect host. Before the holiday, she emailed to ask if we wanted to know places to visit and explore and where to eat. We definitely took her up on a few of her suggestions and these were fantastic. She asked which flavour milkshakes the girls would like and made sure she had thought of them as well as us. She came to greet us personally at the house and check we had everything we needed and checked back the next day which I thought was really thoughtful of her. We had no problems, but I know she would have sorted them instantly. She even came to say goodbye with a gift for us and the girls. She was the best host I have ever come across. I am so glad we chose the Nest for our family mini break. I couldn't have wished for a more perfect holiday. I highly recommend this place and we are all looking forward to staying again. Definitely 1010 all round, I can not fault this property or host. Thank you for making our holiday so special.

We had a fantastic week staying at The Nest. Great communication and information from Claire.The weather was good for late October,so plenty of places to visit.
