Awel Y Mor Reviews

The property was lovely and as described on the website. There was a bottle of wine and some traditional welsh food items left for us, which was a nice touch. The views from the property were amazing and its located in a beautiful spot, with lots of walks from the door step. On the whole, we had a lovely, relaxing weekend away. The only negative is that there were no hand towels in the bathrooms, just bath towels left for each guest, no tea towels in the kitchen and in the basket labelled hot tub towels there were none. Also the soap dispensers in the bathrooms were empty. Just small things but noticeable.
We liked the open plan aspect of the lounge, dinner and kitchen. There were lovely views from the house and raised decking. The hot tub offered another good feature, however upon first use the water looked like it needed cleaningtreatment. For those who have mobility issues then within the house there are many steps and the garden is sloped. We did make use of the fire pit at the bottom of the garden. We couldn't use the off road parking on the drive as it is very steep and not wide enough to open the car doors. The kitchen offered the usual appliances but we did find the cupboards for food storage a little limited. On arrival the house was tidy but could have been a little cleaner. The hoover didn't have a cleaning head or pipe so using it was difficult requiring you to bend down. We did search all cupboards thoroughly but couldn't find the items. The house is in a good location only a short drive into town and reasonable drive to Conwy, Llandudno, Anglesey, amongst other places.
We found alot of dust in the house, a broken toilet seat a broken door lock in the bathroom, corn flakes under the cushion on the arm chair, playing cards under the sofa, no dishwasher tablets 2 toilet rolls for 8 people, a broken chair. On the plus side amazing views a lovely house very let down with the housekeeping
We all had a lovely week Such a beautiful house with stunning views would definitely book again
Beautiful property, beautiful views and overall lovely stay. The kitchen isnt as well equipped as most but it wasnt anything major. The homeowners were very helpful and friendly when needing assistance. Would definitely return.
Amazing place to stay. Beautiful views from the deck. We absolutely loved our stay here. Have already recommended to friends and family

Lorraine
Fabulous stay thank you so much! Beautiful location with breathtaking views. Clean, comfortable and so spacious. The welcome treats were a lovely touch
Everything was good, but we would have liked a cafetire. I appreciate that there was information about no tea towels, but none of us had read this as they are usually supplied. We bought some in Prestatyn, so easily solved. Fabulous views from the property.
Wow wow wow! !! A must stay if youre in Wales!! Fabulous! Amazing property.. Modern, spacious, relaxing and perfect in every way. All amenities we could possibly need. Beautiful views, sipping champagne whilst watching the sunset was very special. Thank you so much, we will be back x
We stayed here for new year, 4 adults and 4 children. Plenty of space for everyone, beautiful home with everything you could need. The hosts, Paul and Sophie were amazing and very helpful. Great location, we went for a nice walk into the town and had a lovely meal from the suhail tandoori Indian restaurant. Would love to visit again. Thank you for a lovely start to 2025
Amazing place, we kept discovering hidden rooms. Make sure youre back for dinner during the sunset. Incredible views to enjoy.

What can I say, stunning property, stunning views, after spending a week here for Christmas I can honestly say I would come back in a heart beat, really well equipped, games room and hot tub are an added bonus, enough space for the whole family & the owners have been really nice, with welcome pack and treats for us all, the one downside for us was the size of the oven and navigating a christmas dinner but other than that stunning!
