17 Third Avenue Reviews

Excellent place to stay home from home looking
The property was clean and welcoming. Set back in a quiet culdesac. Easy access to the driveway. Kitchen well equipped and everything you need.A few minutes walk to the beach and easy to access.A lovely view from the bedroom window at the front of the house. would recommend this holiday home. Likely to book again.
Angela
Comfortable, compact little house. Clean and reasonably well maintained. We did notice that the conservatory door won't lock when the temperature rises, as well as the intense heat in the conservatory itself. However this wasn't a problem, and the large windows could be opened wide to let the fresh sea wind into the house. The king size bed was extremely comfortable, but the bunk beds not so much. All in all it was a lovely stay and I would recommend this property to others. Thank you
Excellent place to stay definitely would recommend and I will definitely be returning soon
Great location to explore North Wales.
Lynsey
Amazing location very comfortable
Nice house great location for beach and amenities. very comfortable
Lovely property and location, a lack of pans, and blinds in bathroom need dusting as does the skirting board in main bedroom. But otherwise spotless and very comfortable. Had a lovely break and would love to stay again. Thank you !

Lovly place to stay so close to everything and such a beautiful walk along the promenade every morning swiping pool and play area and gym 2 mins walk away park for kids also 2mins walk and arcades it really is such an amazing location and the home is lovly only problem is hate leavening
We had a great time at 17 third Avenue, nice and spacious, comfy sofa, comfy bed, nice enclosed courtyard garden for our dog, quiet location, fabulous it was only a 2 minute walk to the sea front ,other comments mentioned a welcome pack, I dont expect one and we didnt receive one! I usually take all my own things but on this occasion I forgot to pack tea towels and guess what! There wasnt any! the other thing to let this property down was the cleanliness, I raised the issue with Sykes and sent them photos of what wed found on the day we arrived as I feel its unfair on the owners to be paying cleaners to come and clean and theyre not doing it properly, at best, someone had been in changed the bedding and put fresh towels in , I have my own business of domestic house cleaning and if Id left a property like that I certainly wouldnt expect to be paid for it! A lot of empty cleaning bottle products so I couldnt do it myself! On the whole we enjoyed our stay and if we were welcome we would return
Anthony
We had a wonderful time in your house it was a perfect base for getting around Prestatyn town a 5 minute drive Rhyl 3 miles away. The closeness to the beach was about 3 minutes which was great. The enclosed courtyard was very secure and the arrival gift was very welcome. We will definitely come back
Very comfortable, well equipped house in an ideal location for the beach. We had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend
Allison
Really enjoyed our stay at the house, everything available that you need for a holiday. Very clean and tidy, close to beach Owners very friendly and helpful Would stay again
Yvonne
Great place to stay close to beach and town. The only draw back was having to buy teaspoons as only one in drawer. Could be a bit cleaner in places . Nice touch the welcome pack, enjoyed the holiday.
Patricia Ann

Christopher

Loved the house layout was good garden enclosed for our little dog Was great ... Loved the house layout was good garden enclosed for our little dog Was great for the beach and town in walking distance There were plenty of pots and pans as well crockery a real home from home feel
Very comfortable property. Unexpectedly high temperatures for September didn't allow us to use conservatory as just too stifling. Well equipped, spacious kitchen although we would have appreciated a little more kitchen roll than the one sheet presumably left by previous occupants! Comfortable furniture & bed. Back garden ideal to sit out as fully enclosed but just too hot for our dog to do so this week. We love North Wales so will definitely be back, hopefully to this property if available & when it's not so warm!
Anthony
Nice spacious property, very close to the beach and town centre. Good base to explore North Wales. Would stay here again.
Katrina
House was very comfortable, clean. Loved the welcoming pack which was very much needed after being in the car for 5hrs. Stunning beach which is two seconds away from the house. Rhyl was very impressing, another stunning beach. Would highly recommend this property if u love walking or don't mind driving to stunning views, waterfalls. Would differently come back.
Alison
The house is in a great location within a short walk to the beach and other facilities. Its an ideal place for a small family. The garden was small but well contained and secure, which we needed for our dog. The welcome pack was much appreciated thank you. My only comment would be that we had our 8 year old granddaughter with us and I would have liked there to be some smaller drinking cups and glasses for children. Otherwise, our stay was comfortable and I would happily book again if I was returning to Prestatyn.
Allison
We loved our stay here and would definitely return. Beautiful house in the perfect location, just a minute walk to the beach path. The house is clean and comfortable with all facilities that are needed on your stay. Quiet location but just a 5 minute walk to the leisure centre, playground, amusements etc. We loved Prestatyn and can't wait to come again next year.
Excellent property with superb position for local amenities will definitely stop again
