Rhydonnen Bach Reviews

We arrived at Rhydonnen Bach is the dark so couldnt experience the beautiful views until the next morning. The cottage was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We would not hesitate to book this cottage again
A lovely cottage, fully equipped and very warm and cosy. Set in a peaceful and relaxing location with views over the Clwydian Range and open fields, an absolute delight. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this cottage if your looking for a quiet and restful short break, its very good.

Our first stay at Rhydonnen Bach, the cottage was comfortable and everything we needed to enjoy our stay, we appreciated the welcome pack, plus access to freezer and washing machine. Beautiful views of Vale of Clwyd and surrounded by open fields with just cows as neighbours. Ruthin and Denbigh within easy travelling for food and local farmers for fresh eggs. Would certainly consider returning in future
Loved this cottage and could happily live here. Cosy and Peaceful, warm and with a great view. We had difficulty finding it, but may have just been because we were very tired!! A washing basket and a slotted spoon! would have been great additions. Also a door on the kitchen!!

We had a lovely week at Rhydonnen Bach, the views are stunning. Lovely comfortable beds..A full length mirror and hairdryer would be nice to have! The kitchen and conservatory could do with a bit of tlc but adequate for our needs. Overall a lovely old characterful house and would be happy to stay there again.
A beautiful cottage, secluded but not isolated with solar panels and a heat pump. A fantastic view from the conservatory and got loads of work done. Ceri and her husband were great. I would like to return.
Lovely home, with gorgeous views of the country side. Spacious bedrooms, cosy rooms that had everything we needed for our stay. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Absolutely adored this cottage. Just felt so calm and happy here. It was so peaceful being isolated which is just what was needed from the time away. Visited a few local places nearby. Cleanliness has been previously mentioned in other reviews which doesn't seem to have been improved on as yet which is a shame. A few more cooking implements could improve the cooking experience. We tend to stay in whilst on holiday and cooking can prove problematic with what is available at the moment. Just a few things need replacing and no blind in the bathroom window. But overall I was really impressed with our stay and would 100 stay again.
A comfortable peaceful stay but a good clean wouldnt go a miss. We couldnt use any top shelves anywhere as they were filthy along with cobwebs everywhere. Worth noting there is no wardrobe in the double aspect bedroom. But the beds were very comfortable and the shower was great.
Heather
Beautiful cottage in own grounds with long driveway, meaning you have no close neighbours, except the cows bliss! Kids loved the gardens and rope swing. Cottage well equipped with lovely comfy beds and great views from conservatory. Only slight downside was lack of attention with cleaning, surface clean only. If this was improved it would be 5 star. It would also be nice to have some welcome communication.

A charming cottage with wonderful views of the Vale of Clwyd. It was our home for 8 months 40 years ago.
Beautiful comfortable and relaxing. Comfortable beds. Welcoming owners. We have booked our next stay.
We had a wonderful 6 days in this lovely place. Made even better by the glorious April weather which allowed us to spend most of the days outdoors, either relaxing in the garden or exploring the beautiful countryside. At night we sat outside gazing at the skies. The only downside was having to leave! One of the best places we have ever stayed in.
Lovely comfortable cottage, so peaceful and quiet. Conservatory a real bonus and the views magnificent.
We absolutely loved staying in this lovely cottage. We particularly loved the conservatory and its magnificent views Ioan, The owner made sure we had plenty of logs for the wood burner, So cosy in the cool evenings! The beds were comfortable. The heating was easy to manage and there was plenty of hot water. We also loved the peacefulness as it is set down a long track, so it is well off the road.

We absolutely loved it here. We booked for two weeks and then for a further week. The tranquility and views are amazing! We didnt want to leave. The nearest house road is about 150 metres away. The major facilities are tremendous, including guest controlled heating, large flat screen tv, fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave, oven ,hob, tumble dryer. Many thanks to Ceri for providing such a great experience.. Joe& Dawn
Great stay in beautiful location, amazing views and nice a peaceful and ... Great stay in beautiful location, amazing views and nice a peaceful and relaxing, will definitely be staying agin , thankyou
Andrea
We loved it. It was clean and comfortable but basic. There was no coffee pot, I took my own anyway but I feel it should be standard. It would have been nice to have a few books or games. I appreciate a lot of things were removed post covid. The beds were a dream! The views amazing, the cows a delight. The one easy chair in the conservatory was a bit battered. There were a few lightbulbs that needed to be changed and no mirrors in the bedrooms. But the location and the charm of the place made up for most of the minor niggles. The host was lovely as well we could not find the house in the dark so had to contcat her quite late.
