Perfect cottage for a pre Christmas getaway. Warm and cosy and within easy walking distance of the town. Would highly recommend.

Smashing little cottage. ...everything you could wish for. Great location in a lovely little town only 5 mins walk to the centre. Comfy bed, spotlessly clean. Peaceful and relaxing break which was balm to the soul...will definitely return.
Cuddfan is a really great little cottage, and it's obviously been upgraded to a high standard. Finishing is spoton. It's convenient for town, really cosy, and has plenty of storage space. The only two small things we found a little disappointing were, lack of freezer or ice compartment in fridge, plus the noise in lounge, due to property being on a very busy road. It doesn't look like it would be busy, looking on Google maps, but it is. However, it's one of those things you tend to get used to, and we wouldn't let it put us off staying again. Cottage is well equipped, great ensuite shower room, and comfortable bed. Would highly recommend it.
Would definitely book again. Perfect little cottage, sympathetically renovated with modern facilities and comfortable furnishings. Great location for wandering into Llangollen town and lovely walks nearby. Parking is fine if you drive into the next parking area down to turn around first.
A rental that looked even better than the listing is a rare find. The kitchen was very well equipped, the TV had a cable installed to attach your computer, the bedroom was cosy, even a hot water bottle and spare blanket in the cupboard. The neighbours were lovely and friendly, long term tenants. The only gap was no toiletries in the bathroom, would have been nice to have shower gel and shampoo. I'm travelling by motorbike and packing light. The parking is behind the property, and felt secure. Would love to stay here again. Also, there is a Coop 5 a minute walk away and a great breakfast place just at the bottom of the road. I left my adapter attached to the tv cable, any chance of putting it in the post to me?
Have stayed there before and it was just how we remembered it. We really enjoyed our stay there.
Clifford
Lovely cottage in good location to Llangollen centre. Could do with washing line at the back or a maiden in kitchen for after showers, otherwise comfortably equipped. After staying at Cuddfan I would recommend this property for a younger couple. We found 3 stories too much after being out all day.
George
Nice property for two, modern but I found 2 lots of stairs up to the bedroom and toilet a challenge so maybe for younger couples than us or fitter oldies. The parking space was OK for our small car but the access is tight. Easy walk into town so location is great. Overall we had an enjoyable short break.
A beautiful, clean and well appointed cottage, I would definitely recommend Cuddfan. The bed is very comfy and we didn't notice much street noise from the bedroom. It's very conveniently situated too, you can do so much from the doorstep without having to go anywhere in the car as long as you don't mind hills. The owner was very helpful with me booking last minute, and then accidentally leaving something at the property! I was glad that we took a smallish car as we'd have struggled to park in a big car. It wouldn't be impossible, just quite challenging.
Samuel
A pleasant cottage renovated to a good standard and very convenient for the town of Llangollen as only a 5 minute walk. The main downside was the noise from passing pedestrians and vehicles through the front door which I notice has been mentioned by previous visitors twice.
Lovely, cosy stay, convenient for the town, thank you
A lovely cottage within easy walk of the town centre. Immaculately clean, everything you need. Would recommend.
Fantastic cottage. Very modern and extremely clean. Has everything you could possibly want from a holiday cottage. Milk, Tea, Coffee and Sugar provided. And the bottle of wine was lovely. Parking is tight, but wasnt a problem for us, and this is stated in the cottage details anyway. Stairs are steep, could be a problem for older couples, again not a problem for us, and stated in the details. Quiet location with a fantastic view of the castle! and less than a 5 min walk to the main street. We will definitely be coming back!
Very cosy and well equipped cottage. It is an easy walk to town.We enjoyed the woodburner every night.
Stephen

Gorgeous Cottage, perfect place to stay. We loved cuddfan, its a beautiful property which has been lovingly restored. Perfect for 2, situated just a few minutes walk into the town centre and 10 min walk to the pavilion. Lovely relaxing break, we will definitely book again, thank you xx
The cottage lived up to its name Cuddfan hiding spot. Great little find, a comfortable stay, with parking close to the centre of Llangollen but positioned on the quieter side of town. Would definitely return. Diolch
Lovely cottage in a great location. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay
Just had a lovely week here despite the best efforts of the weather to ruin it. A comfortable & well equipped cottage, the low kitchen ceiling not a problem & I'm 6'5. The only thing I would change would be to have a fridge with a small freezer compartment to it
We really enjoyed our stay at Cuddfan. The interior of the cottage has been modernised to a very high standard and meets everything that one could wish for.
It is lovely, clean well kept cottage. Parking is a bit of a problem but we coped ok.I'm not sure it is dog friendly, because of the two flights of stairs, and can be a problem for people with mobility issues. But We are in our 70s and we coped ok.Good location close to amenities. We would definitely stay there again.Lovely bottle of wine on arrival, thank you.
Stairs were a problem for both of us . But had a good holiday.
The cottage has been beautifully renovated with top quality fixtures and fittings but the traffic noise and draft through the front door was very noticeable. As mentioned in the description the stairs are very steep and parking difficult. The owners are to be commended for this lovely little cottage but we are in our 70s although reasonably fit and feel the property would be better suited to younger couples. Llangollen is fabulous with lots to do and wonderful scenery and the cottage is a short walk from the centre.
Steven
Only issue was the parking, but the property details did say about the turning into the property. Some traffic and people noise from the road which seemed busy.
Alison
Beautiful little cottage in the heart of Llangollen immaculate cleanliness little touches were a treat leaving treats etc for the dog and a bottle of wine and a bottle of milk were very well received x would highly recommend this little gem of a cottage. We really enjoyed our stay
Robert
Very clean and well maintained. Stairs very steep and the parking very difficult. Key safe tricky and directions on arrival confusing. Not suitable if you have mobility issues. Position excellent for the town.
Claire
Fantastic property! Totally spotless. Great location too really enjoyed the stay thank you
Michael
beautifully restored cottage. Spotlessly clean, ideally located for Llangollen town centre which is a very short walk away. Great canal walk to the magnificent Pontcysyllte Viaduct ca 8 miles return and nice tearooms in the adjacent village of Trevor. We really enjoyed our stay at Cuddfan and would return recommend. Diolch yn fawr!
Lovley little cottage. .got everything that you need for a nice little break.. situated within couple minutes from the town as well.. would definitely visit again.. thank you.
Cosy and comfortable cottage with everything you can need. Accepts dogs too but you would never know that. Lovely town with the river and canal, plenty of walks for all ranges of fitness. Great food at the corn mill where you can sit out on the deck at the river. Great ice cream shop in town too. Nice surprise of bottle of wine and milk in fridge was very welcome. Would definitely go back again.
A great place. Accomodation has lots of character is well equipped and a two minute walk into town.
Alison
What a fabulous cottage with the added bonus of parking. Quaint, comfortable, stylish with all mod cons and a lovely personal touch of bottle of red wine and milk. Close to town. Would highly recommend and will most definitely be returning. Thank you for an enjoyable, relaxing break.
Lovely cottage for two Fully equipped and nicely decorated. The big kitchen is a plus! Close to shops and restaurants. Plenty to see and do in the area. Well be back!
Cottage was lively. Clean and nicely decorated. Everything we needed for a week. Very close to town so we could walk in and parking space was a bonus!
The cottage was gorgeous, just as described. The owners have obviously put a lot of thought into the renovation and have provided everything you could need. The only niggle is that the kitchen table is on castors which means its really too high to sit at comfortably. The location is spot on though the parking is a little tight! and you can easily walk to shopspubs you need nearby. The Corn Mill pubrestaurant located on the riverside is excellent, though would advise you to prebook. We were lucky with the weather too so it was all perfect. Would definitely recommend.
