A really comfortable apartment. Bright and clean throughout. Well equipped kitchen, great space and dining table. Bedrooms big and pleasant to stay in. Lounge area with views out of the window to the beach and sea, great for watching people walk by. A big TV on the wall above the fireplace, with basic Sky TV so a good picture and all the usual apps to use. Rhyl might not be the best place, but such a good base to get round all of North Wales, with rail links and bus services nearby. It is a bit tight, but when you get your head around the space, car parking in a secure compound is ideal. Hosts were friendly and attentive. I'm sure we will be back again at some time.

We had a lovely time at Ty Canol, the view was fantastic. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Parking space was included. We were within walking distance of amenities. A good base to have a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

We stayed in this lovely apartment with a beautiful view overlooking the sea on the front and a decking balcony at the back overlooking the rest of Rhyl. This is our second stay here and there are very minor faults I can give, I very much enjoyed my stay here as I did previously. The kitchen has everything you need, the beds are comfortable, there are toys for your little ones in the cupboard, the apartment covers all bases for me. However If you dont drive i will say it is a bit of a trek down the long drive way and back up to get to the lift with suitcases and a buggy or if you happen to use a wheelchair, but its a minor inconvenience. There are side stairs for quicker access to and from the apartment. The only issue I had was the checking out time was 9am as opposed 10am on our previous stay. It was a bit of a rush to make sure we had everything, get the kids ready to go and clean up after ourselves. Granted I did leave baby bottles I had sterilised in the haste but thankfully the owner had kept them when I returned to collect them. Aside from the earlier than usual checking out time, I cant really fault the apartment and would happily stay again and most likely will.

Super happy I booked Ty Canol, views were amazing, beds super comfortable, whole apartment is really big as well. I want to go back in the summer. The town itself has everything you need, and you are short drive from Conwy which I love.

Accommodation is fantastic, roomy, comfortable and has wonderful views. I don't like the idea of a 9am exit in the morning. It should be between 10 and 11 am even if it means not checking in until 2pm. It's also difficult to understand exactly what time check in and out is as the website says one thing, the booking says something else and texts say something else. It would be a good idea if Sykes and the owner were on the same page about this. Needless to say we have opted for a late evening checkout on the evening before we are meant to leave which is a bit disappointing as we could have spent the day of the Saturday morning checkout in Wales. However despite this we are still booking our fifth return for March 2026. This time with Ty Uchaf where we had our first holiday owned by the same persons and in my opinion even more luxurious than Ty Canola. Smaller kitchen but separate dining room with 3 bedrooms .

We had a wonderful week despite the awful luck with the weather. The beds were comfortable, the property was warm and welcoming with flowers, milk and wine left, enabling us to have a cuppa on arrival. Thank you. The lift was essential for my elderly parents but this only gave access to the parking area, so we were then stuck to get them to the front of the property safely unless we took the car.

Ty Canol is an a fabulous position overlooking Rhyls long promenade we were lucky enough to catch a red sunset dipping into the sea one evening. The entrance approaches are functional rather than pretty, but once inside, the accommodation is very spacious and comfortable. Had the weather been warm enough, we would have availed ourselves to the outside balcony planted with daffodils and overlooking Welsh hills. The lift was a real bonus for our elderly friend. The owner was really helpful and dealt with an early snag promptly, and also facilitated our request to reschedule our visit because of adverse weather which Sykes approved at no cost to ourselves a very big thanks to both. Next time we need to go to Rhyl, we will be checking the availability of this apartment first.
