I can echo the many reviews of how exceptional this property is, both in comfort and quality. I can also underline the cleanliness throughout, the high standard of kitchen appliances, furnishings and the welcome package that greets you upon arrival. Even the WiFi supplied runs at 70mb sec, something Ive never experienced in any other Sykes cottage Ive stayed in! Normally one mb is the standard package! This cottage is a gold star find! Do I have a criticism? Unfortunately one. But only one! Please supply some condiments! It would totally complete the experience. A little salt and pepper. Coffee, tea, sugar, all supplied in abundance. Why not a little seasoning? That said. Ill be back, as soon as time allows, to once again sit beneath the vines, enjoying a glass of wine in your so quiet, private garden. A gem! A real gem!

Spotlessly clean, well equipped property with a quirky layout, lots of lovely walks from the property and we loved watching all the bird activity on the grape vine, the welcome pack was nice too. Ann

We had a lovely week at Little Nook. The property was just what we wanted. The only tiny negative was that we had asked for a pub closed by as we wanted to be able to go for an occasional walk to it in the evening, but the one in Llandrillo has been closed for 2 years so this needs to be updated. Apart from that everything else was perfect

Lovely clean, modern accommodation which is very comfortable. Nice seating area and kitchen with good appliances. Bread and cakes were provided which was lovely. Tea coffee and sugar available. Would have liked to have had some condiments eg salt and pepper if preparing meals . Only disappointment was the outside area which needed attention and larger table for outdoor dining. Lovely view from the bedrooms but couldnt see it from the outside area due to tall fence . Good parking facility and close to local shop for essentials.

A nice, well equipped 2x doublebedroomed cottage, closer to the village than we had expected, but that was a positive. Directions to find the accommodation were brilliant. There's nice, well signed walks nearby, giving some lovely views across the valley. The situation is good, just about 5 miles from the A5, so easy to get to the many pretty places nearby. It was ideal place for us to spend some quality time with our daughter and soninlaw. Sadly, the weather didnt let us try out the BBQ, or sitting outside, but the facilities were there. Kitchen was well equipped too. Thank you for an enjoyable weekend

Very clever design of the property with 2 ensuite bedrooms ideal. The place was spotless and well provisioned, though I had been looking forward to the Bara Brith. It was very quiet and welllocated for our fishing trip. A tumble dryer would have been more use than the dishwasher, but otherwise everything was there, though perhaps a knifesharpener would be handy. I would stay there agin if still available, though it could be challenging in very hotweather I suspect.

We really enjoyed our 5 night stay at Little Nook, a very clean and well equipped cottage located in a quiet village with lovely views from both bedrooms over the fields and hills. The Welsh cakes and Bara Brith were a very thoughtful welcome treat. We were very lucky with the weather and visited several places recommended in the welcome booklet and also there was a good selection of leaflets too. Can highly recommend The Berwyn Restaurant for an excellent Sunday Roast and The Bryntirion Inn for a very nice meal too. The only disappointment was that the local pub was closed but otherwise highly recommend Liitle Nook as a lovely place to stay.

We had a brilliant stay here at the start of the new year and cannot recommend this property enough. The beds were spotless and all the rooms were just so clean. There was a beautiful Christmas tree which kept the holiday feeling going. The log burner was fantastic, and it was a joy to move all the furniture around it so we could have a cosy night in. In addition, we timed it just before the snow landed as well, so the surrounding areas were majestic!

Lovely property in a small friendly village. The accommodation was like a small barn conversion, very clean, with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Would have been nice to have had a bedside cabinet or a larger shelf by the bed used a box to put my glasses, book etc on!

One bedroom could do with a king size bed just for the larger person otherwise perfect

Situated in a quiet, pretty village with a handy shop and a first class restaurant Little Nook is an ideal base from which to explore the scenic surrounding countryside and picturesque towns nearby. The property is spotlessly clean with a well equipped kitchen and a comfortable lounge area. As a party of 3 in our late 70s we would have preferred another chair rather than a bench at the dining table but that might not be an issue for some. The bedrooms are quite small and lacking in storage or even a chair on which to put your clothes overnight but the beds are comfortable, there are lovely views from the windows and the showers are excellent. We did miss a shower mat. Outside there us ample parking and the gravelled garden is charming. Overall we can highly recommend Little Nook and would rate it 4.5 if that was an option. It's almost perfect.

Fantastic cottage in a great location an ideal base from which to explore the surrounding area. The Little Nook is beautifully presented, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms enjoyed spectacular views over the hills. The highlight for us was the lovely, private terrace under the vines. A fantastic space to relax with a drink and a bbq after sunny days spent discovering the delights of this gorgeous part of Wales. Thanks to Steve and Vic for being such thoughtful owners and only a call away if needed. We certainly had a wonderful week and wouldnt hesitate to recommend The Little Nook to others.

I came to stay here this week with my boyfriend as a nice little getaway for us. This little home was beautiful, the high ceiling as you enter really caught my attention, I love how open and light it was, the fire place was stunning, we loved the cosy little living room space to watch tv, blankets came in handy too! The house was very clean and everything was supplied for us. The outside archway to the doors was gorgeous, and seeing the views of the fields and sheep from our bedrooms was amazing, we loved being surrounded by nature. Thank you so much for this wonderful stay, location was perfect for us, nice and quiet town but near plenty of destinations for us to visit. Will definitely be coming back! Amy & Josh.

The cottage was fabulous. Well equipped , clean& lots of equipment. Even a BBQ& outside seating. I would recommend both Little Nook& Sykes holidays. If fact my son has booked next year's holiday on Anglesey with Sykes.

Property was excellent. Biggest disappointment was that we had planned on using the local pub, but it had obviously been closed for some time.

This was one of the best places I've stayed. Really clean and comfortable cottage with a nice 'symmetrical' design aesthetic to the room layouts. Has all the equipment you need without being at all cluttered so still feels spacious. Location is in a very quiet villages which suited us well for this trip... country walks on the doorstep and lots of natural sights a short drive away.

Steve and Vic were great and so accommodating a storm blew out the WiFi while we were there and they arranged for a replacement box the next day! I would heartily recommend this as a place to stay and please try the Berwyn Restaurant....one of the best meals I'd had for a long time.

We loved Little Nook. It was very well equipped, well presented and very comfortable. We were also delighted to have had a superb restaurant within a short walk of the property. The only slight disappointment was the lack of view from the garden, and being hemmed in by other properties.

Little nook is a fantastic property, in a picturesque village. It's perfect for 2 couples who want to go on holiday together, with the completely separate bedrooms and on suite bathrooms . The owners kept in touch via email before we went with ideas of things to do and places to visit which is a nice touch and we had a welcome pack too. The scenery in area is stunning,we didnt have great weather but we managed to go to the places we wanted to go to. We stayed at Little Nook during August bank holiday week and it was absolutely wonderful. It was really tidy, clean and the decor was modern with a home feel to it. The welcome gift and the booklet of useful information was a fabulous touch and a lovely gesture as we didn't know the area very well. Little Nook was really well situated as we managed to travel to many places in less than an hour. We had a problem with the water pressure on our second day due to a burst water pipe nearby and Steve the owner keep us in the loop of what was happening with the water company and also kindly left a pack of water for us it was really appreciated. Steve and Vic also recommended nearby waterfalls to try out! The only downside was there wasn't a view from the garden of the beautiful scenery. You can only see it out the bedroom windows BUT the garden was stunning with the grape vines and roses over the pergola. We would definitely stay here again when we are next in Wales.
