6 Cwrt Griffiths Reviews

Annalease
We had a fantastic stay over Christmas and new year , the house is everything you need for a great relaxing break .
We love this house and have visited several times. It is warm and cosy for a winter visit. Handily placed for Prestatyn itself and the nearby towns of Lkabdudno and Rhos on Sea.
Teresa
Was lovely place to stay very comfortable and clean, home from home. vey comfy bed loved the dishwasher. only things that could make it better couldnt watch live tv like news and weather needs ariel had to keep retuning daily. need a bath mat in bath shower very slippy for us older folk lol. could do with a few more dessert spoons only 3. read a review about bins to put out nothing in booklet to tell you. would go again was a really nice place.the things above didnt spoil our holiday.
Gillian
2nd stay at the house think it's looking a little drab needs a bit of freshen up . The overall stay was brilliant my dogs loved it nice area will be returning
Nicola
Upon arrival we had to clean cups and spoons to make a drink as there was dried on teacoffee stains in particular 2 of them. Upon further inspection the air fryer hadn't been cleaned the grill tray had food residue on it. Frying pan needs throwing out. Dishwasher still had food in filter. Washing machine smells. One of the single bed slat was broken, bath and panel have cracks. Sunday morning spent several hours cleaning the kitchen and only utensils that we were going to use as there was dried on food in bowls etc. Soap caddy dirty. Under sofa cushions is dirty and needs a good hoover. I have messaged owner and emailed Sykes Cottages also left message on my booking confirmation feedback and NO one has got back to me.
We love this holiday home. Our second visit this year. The house is well appointed and the enclosed garden is perfect for our little dog. The house is well situated for local beaches and the town. Highly recommend this property.
It says in information folder to put rubbish out on Wednesday night, that's wrong because dustbin man came Wednesday morning. Luckily we got it out in time .
We had a lovely week at the property. A beautiful home. Modern and spotlessly clean, bright and comfortable. Has everything you need. Close to the beach which our big pooch loved. Lovely garden too. Would highly recommend to stay. Would definitely stay again as we have family near by.
Very nice property, It has everything you need for a great stay. The house is in a really quiet area of newly built houses. Very close to the beach and lots of shops and takeaways not too far away. We would not hesitate to stay again in the future.
Second stay at this lovely property, central to so many walks and beautiful beaches. Our dog loves it here, every walk along the beach. Clean and cosy property , will definitely be going back .
Very pleased with this property. This was our third stay. It is comfortable and has everything you need . We'll placed for visiting the local area tourist attractions and shops. Highly recommend.
Deborah
This is the second time we have stayed here. We find it very convenient for all the touristic sites, plus it is not too far from shops and family. The off road parking is ideal and the location is fairly quiet. A 2nd bedside lamp in the twin room would be appreciated!
Overall it is a good property in a great location for the beach and other attractions in the area. We were disappointed to arrive in the evening to a cold house with no immediate hot water. We had to wait for the heating and water to kick in once we worked out how to use the thermostat no instructions. There was no additional blankets that I could find as the double duvet was quite light. I was surprised to find that there was a camera outside the back door. A note in the folder advised that this is only on when the property is empty. How is this guaranteed? This is something that should be in the listing, so people can take this into consideration.I We did have a lovely few days, it was cool but sunny and we did explore the area with our dog.
This property is so cute, stylish & comfy really felt like home from home. Perfectly placed in the middle of Rhyl & Prestatyn with nice coastal walks either way. It however does need a few little things just to make it 1010. no hooks on bedroom or bathroom doors sounds petty but don't realise how useful these are until you don't have any washing machine & dishwasher smelt fusty & mouldy. Dishwasher did improve as it was used through the week but washing machine did make clothes smell a bit fusty edge of bath cracked no mirrors in bedrooms, only a full length one right at the top of stairs. Had to be careful not to step too far back when doing hair & make up no TV signal so have to use apps to watch any telly. Couldnt add new apps as it asks for a PIN that wasn't provided so had to watch some stuff on our phones information about bin collection is wrong in the welcome pack, says they collect on Thursdays but it was actually Wednesday there is a CCTV camera in the back garden, I get it's for security when the property is empty but did make me feel a bit uneasy being filmed when out in the garden some the lights in the property are bit strange, no shades on the energy saving bulbs & quite often when we put those lights on they would keep going straight back off took about 4 times of turning on, off, on, off before they actually stayed on All in all the property is great & we would return again in the future.
Michaela
Cozy, comfortable, quiet property, ideally placed for visiting North Wales . We had 1 or 2 minor technical issues but overall had a wonderful stay. Kitchen very well equipped, master bedroom very comfortable and living room comfortable too. Would definitely return in visiting the area.
Generally a lovely property but requires a really good deep clean. Kitchen draw was filthy any some cupboards required a clean before putting anything away on arrival. Downstairs loo hadnt been cleaned, some loo cleaner had been put in it to make it look as though it had. Could do with a door mat at the bifold door. So many opened cleaning products perhaps just try to have one of each and have them under just the kitchen sink? Washing machine needs a clean. The doors into the property need a vacuum whilst being open. Bit of storage in the bathroom would be helpful, perhaps a basket tower storage or mending the shelf so you can put tooth brushes ect on. Loved the comfy sofa and was so easy to get to the beach even with some works going on. Parking was really easy and found the property easily. Host was very helpful and very kindly supplied a baby gate and helped when the tv stopped working. Just needs a deep clean and a bit of a tidy in the kitchen.
Beautiful holiday home. So comfortable too. Lovely home from home feeling. No welcome pack as some reviewers have mentioned but we didnt expect one anyway. Loved that it was dog friendly so our elderly dog could enjoy her holiday with us. The property was a bit too far away to walk into the town for us but ideal for a short walk to the seafront and beach.
Lovely property. Had everything we needed.lovely enclosed garden.not far to a lovely beach. We would definitely use again
A lovely accommodation in a beautifully quiet street. Ample parking, superclose to the beach. The descriptions and photos do not do justice to this clean, cozy, wellequipped house. We absolutely loved the garden and ate most our meals on the patio The owner was helpful and easy to contact. We will be back! Thank you!
Michael
The property was lovely. It was very comfortable and clean and we had a great time. The property had everything we needed. The welcome pack was a nice gesture to. We have stayed in a few holiday properties over the years and this is one of if not the best in terms of cleanlines , comfort and having everything you need to have a really nice stay. It was perfect.
Had a lovely stay at this property. The place was very clean and comfortable. Our dog had lots of outdoor space to about and very well enclosed. The beach was a wonderful long stretch of sandy walks, perfect for our family and dog.The only negative I would say Is that I was shocked to see signs asking to strip the bed before leaving.I thought this was a little unacceptable considering you are on holiday to relax, not to do the job of the paid cleaners.
We only stayed a few nights . .it was lovely. So clean we would definitely stay here again . There's only one slight negative. In some areas the paint work needs touching up and the wall paper in the lounge is coming off ...Also there was food left in the fridgefreezer .it wasn't an issue but in my opinion it should be removed ..
Another lovely stay at Cwrt Griffiths. Very handily situated for all local attractions. The cottage itself is perfect and beautifully clean.
Hayley
This property was immaculate in cleanliness and very spacious and had all needs covered would definitely recommend this

Convenient location for local facilities in Prestatyn and touring North Wales. Short walk to beachprom. Quiet cul de sac. Lovely modern property with all amenities you would expect. Lovely sunny and private garden. Spotless. Dog friendly. Perfect for our week away.
Lovely house, very well placed for Prestatyn. We will definitely be making a return visit.
Deborah
A wellequipped property. Excellent quiet location and well placed for all amenities, including the beach! Good off road car parking. The small bedroom needs 1 or 2 bedside lamps for reading.
Judith
Throughly enjoyed our stay . Everything we needed in the house,so close to all amenities but the icing on the cake was it's closeness to the endless beaches and walks for my dogs not to mention the perfect dog friendly garden that the house has.Hope to return in the not so distant future.Thank you for thee perfect holiday home.
This property I would highly recommend it was a lovely stay and access to all amenities not far away
Darren
Absolutely thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this very cosy home everything you possibly needed for my weeks stay was at hand. Lovely garden for the dog to stretch its legs to a lovely open plan room which was very cosy cannot fault this property very clean and very well looked after would highly recommend will return again in near future
Angela
Thank you for allowing us to share your lovely home. It was above our expectations and we had a lovely, restful week. Everything is within easy reach especially the beautiful beach which was such a treat for our border collie who has never visited a beach before. We would certainly book again when we come back to North Wales.
We thouraly enjoyed our stay. Lovely and clean. Very cosy. Our cockapoo Bonny loved the garden. The tv didn't work so had no tv over the weekend, realised the batteries needed changing in the remote. Once done tv worked OK. Took a while to work out the now tv. But still had a good rest and the nabours where very nice and helpful.
Michael
Absolutely wonderful is the two words to describe this lovely holiday home from home! Our pets loved the garden too. So near to everything too, beach just a short walk across the road, wonderful walks, we loved it so very much & will definitely be booking again! Michael & carole & Pebbles & Dillon xx
The property was really nice and in a good location. Very clean and the garden was a good size. However there were a few niggily things that were a bit annoying that could have made the experience a bit better such as there were no oven gloves so had to use a tea towel to get hot trays out which was not good, there was no way to dry clothes after doing a wash except for outside which is not ideal on a coldwet day so a tumble dryer or a washerdryer would have been useful, there was only 1 tea towel so a few more would have been better and there was only Now TV to watch so could only watch tv via apps rather than normal freeviewSky and you couldnt see what was on to watch unless you went on the apps. A tv guide would have been good
Richard Granville
As we both liked to read in bed at night, it would have been nice to have table lamps in the main bedroom to assist with this. Surprisingly there were none. Otherwise everything else was very nice. A lovely property to stay in.
Lovely very clean property and only a few minutes to the beach. The enclosed garden was much appreciated and we had a very relaxed time. More instructions on appliances would have helped us.
Varsha
We stayed here on the 21st 24th Aug 2023. The house was so lovely, very clean and there was some essentials waiting for us when we got there tea, coffee, milk, bread and biscuits which was a nice touch and much needed. The kitchen facilities were amazing and fully stocked with everything you would need. The bathroom was nice and clean and with a great shower. The garden was good too and our little dog loved it!! The host had left us a welcome booklet with everything we would need to know about the house and the area and the beach was very close. I would 100 recommend this house. Thank you.
