Westoe Hideaway Reviews

Beautiful little place, very clean & warm. Lovely couple who own the Hideaway.
This our second time at Westo Hideaway and had a great holiday . Steve and Sue are great hosts very friendly and informative about the local area . The apartment was spotless and the view was spectacular! We recommend it for a nice relaxing time
We had such a lovely time here. The studio is small but very comfortable. There is no hob so cooking with air fryer and microwave was a little challenging but doable. The steps down to the property would not suit if you have mobility issues. The views from the balcony are beautiful. Our hosts were very friendly and attentive and we had everything we needed. When the sun umbrella broke we had a new one within half an hour

Spectacular views from the terrace, the property was clean and comfortable with all the facilities we needed. Steve was there to give us a warm welcome and all the information about the property and the area. The canal tow path is easily accessible, we walked to Horse Shoe falls and Pontcysyllte Aqueduct from there. Dinas Castle is 45 minute walk and the views are beautiful up there. Perfect relaxing property after a long day walking. Thank you Steve and Sue.
Elaine
Very pleasant stay at this location. Canal path easily accessible in either direction. Although compact it had everything we needed and the addition of the air fryer was an extra bonus. We would definitely recommend and would consider coming back ourselves in a few years.
Westoe Hideaway, about a mile outsise Llangollen, is small but it has all you need including a balcony overlooking the Llangollen canal, River Dee and Llangollen steam railway. Although the trees are still in full bloom you can hear the train tooting from the balcony, see the steam and get an occasional glimpse of the engine. Access to the canal is a short walk away and it's not far to Llangollen or the other way to the Chain Bridge Hotel. There are lots of things to see and do in the immediate vicinity and beyond. The hosts Steve and Sue are friendly and very helpful without being intrusive and are a fount of knowledge about the area. I would recommend Westoe Hideaway to anyone wishing to visit Llangollen.

Exceptionally clean and well presented accommodation , very comfy bed, superb shower and facilities and we felt very relaxed on arrival with everything we needed right there. Enclosed area for us and the dog to relax morning snd night to enjoy the views of the surrounding area and all 3 of us slept very well in the property after a few busy days out and about in Wales and Llangollen. Thank you to our hosts Steve and Sue for making the property available for guests to enjoy and we had a great few days. Some great walks to enjoy with the dog in the countryside or along the canal bank with both a short stroll from the property. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend this property in Llangollen where there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Wonderful 3 nights with our dog, with sunny evenings watching the sunset over that incredible view and fun days full of adventure. We could put our paddleboards in the canal at the bottom of the garden, and there were plenty of great walks on the doorstep. A 20 minute walk along the canal gets you into the centre where you can pick up supplies. The kitchen facilities are basic, but perfectly adequate for a few nights away. The owners are very welcoming and so helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
