Firstly, James and Cate were wonderful hosts, very accommodating and did all they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We stayed for 5 weeks and each new week they provided some tasty treats as extras to enjoy during our stay. The location is very secluded with gorgeous views and extremely quiet. The pay off for this isolation is navigating a narrow lane and then an unkept bumpy private lane to the house. I was unwilling to bring my sports car as it has a low ground clearance and would have been an issue. Perfect if you have a 4x4 or suv. The property itself is well equipped with everything we needed for cooking etc. The beds are very comfortable and nice bedding towels are provided. There are three floors to the accommodation and the main bedroom is in the attic space with sloping ceiling meaning limited headroom. We managed this fine, my husband is 6ft and only bumped his head once. A low ceiling nook just off the lounge was a perfect space for me to read and work. The EE WiFi, is provided through the 4g network. There were problems with it on occasion during our stay when it dropped out, this didnt last longer than 12hrs and happened perhaps 3 times. There is an outside space with table and chairs which was in a sun trap and lovely to sit out and read. In conclusion, it was a perfect for our needs, I loved my time there. Noteworthy, it was within close proximity to Ysbty Glan Clwyd, which we needed to visit during our stay as my mother was having chemotherapy.

We had the most wonderful stay at The Hayloft and couldnt have asked for a more perfect getaway. From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much care and attention had gone into every detail. The extra touches really made it specialfluffy robes waiting for us, fresh flowers and a chilled bottle of prosecco that set the tone for a relaxing stay. The cottage itself is spotless with everything you could possibly need. The views are simply stunning, making it the perfect place to unwind and take in the surroundings. Evenings were especially cozy, spent curled up by the log burner, which added such a warm and homely feel. The owners were lovely and welcoming, always friendly and happy to help while still giving us plenty of privacy. Overall, a fantastic stay in a beautiful, peaceful setting. We cant wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing escape.
