About Ty Ucha

This stunning residence of distinction is situated just over a mile from the delightful village of Llannefydd, with its own pretty pub. It is set down a quiet lane, in peaceful rural surroundings. The beach at Abergele is just short drive away, offering lots of seaside fun. The larger resorts of Colwyn Bay and Rhyl are a little further and the picturesque cobbled streets of Conwy and the beach and pier at Victorian favourite Llandudno are well worth a visit. For the walkers, why not take a walk up and around the Great Orme, with majestic sea views? Easy driving distance to Snowdonia National Park and major attractions such as Wales Zip World and Bodnant Gardens. Enter into the wonderful detached 16th century gentry house to the hallway. The property was refurbished to an exceptional standard in 2018. This leads to several rooms, firstly a ground floor king-size bedroom with Smart TV and en-suite. Exposed stone walls and beams allude to the charm and quality throughout the home. There is also a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, leading to an additional shower room with WC. Through to a breath-taking kitchen with wonderful oak beams, fireplace and an Aga and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. This beautiful room flows through to the large dining room, with double height ceiling, with feature A-frame beams sitting over the dining table with a warming ambience, ideal for family evening meals. From here to the lounge, a space for the more discerning guests, with lots of seating set around and cosy wood burner, with a basket of logs provided, there is also a Smart TV to provide your evening’s entertainment, a truly magnificent space. Proceeding upstairs to the first floor, where there is a king-size bedroom with Smart TV and en-suite bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. A further king-size bedroom with Smart TV and en-suite shower room with WC and a Juliet balcony looking out across the fields. Through a doorway and up a further flight of stairs to the second floor which gives access to the most charming master bedroom, you enter into a bathroom area with roll-top bath and WC, which leads to the bedroom area, via a doorway with restricted height. Looking like a romantic room in a fairy tale castle, this has a king-size bed and Smart TV and super views of the countryside, you may never want to leave. Heading to the outside, which certainly echoes the quality of the inside, there is a large patio with seating and your own private hot tub. Simply relax and unwind under the stars as you enjoy a truly magical break here. There is also an outside shower, BBQ and a large enclosed lawn, ideal for the more energetic to run off some steam. There is ample private parking for up to five cars.

Ty Ucha Reviews

Oliver
Beautiful place, it truly stood out and made our family trip unforgettable!
Emma Carter
We had a lovely stay at this spacious cottage tucked away in the peaceful Welsh countryside. Perfect for our group and our dog, thanks to the enclosed garden. The hot tub was a real bonus after long days exploring. The location was decent, though those narrow lanes can be a bit intimidating with some wild drivers around! The kitchen was well stockedand we appreciated the clean towels for the en-suites and hot tub area. Having a washing machine and tumble dryer was handy too. Mr & Mrs Roberts were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

We had a really lovely time! The cottage was in a prime spot, close to everything. Each bedroom had its own en-suiteand the king-sized beds were super comfy. The place was spotless - definitely exceeded our cleanliness expectations. The host was friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. Can't wait to come back!

The cottage was gorgeous, nestled in stunning scenery. Every one of us had a king-size bed with en suite, which is pretty rare! The place was spotless and spacious, great for kids to play inside and out. The hot tub was just perfect!

We had a lovely stay at this property, despite the crazy weather with storms Isha and Jocelyn hitting during our visit! The location is spot onand the house itself feels really cosy and spacious-perfect for our family with a 5-month-old. We didn't go out much, mainly because of the weather, but the place is well-equippedand the advice on how to get there was spot on, especially since some roads weren't gritted. The high winds limited our hot tub time, but honestly, we found plenty to keep us entertained. We'll definitely return!
David
The house was stunning, really well decorated and spotless. Loved the big dining table - perfect for chilling out and playing games with friends. Definitely recommend!
Alex
This place felt really homely, super cosyand the space was just perfect! Absolutely loved it.

We had an amazing week with seven of us and the place was just perfect. The location was stunning and we loved the underfloor heating along with the log fire-so cosy! The owner was super helpful, even bringing logs when we needed them. The beds were really comfy and the house felt so spacious and well-equipped. The hot tub was a real treatand the local pub owned by the same family served some of the best steaks we've ever had. We'd definitely come back!

We had a fantastic stay at this charming farmhouse! There's heaps of space, from parking to the inside facilities, so everyone was comfortable. The location is peaceful and perfect for relaxing, with plenty of outdoor area to enjoy. The furnishings are lovelyand the kitchen felt just like home. The hot tub was a real highlight-so warm and inviting. Shame about the weather stopping us from making the most of the outside, but overall, it was a brilliant family break. Thanks a lot!
Emma
What a lovely cottage! It had everything we needed and was in such a perfectly peaceful spot. We've just booked it again for December!
Laura
An amazing property in a stunning location, everything was finished to a very high standard and equipped for all our needs. We were a party of seven adultsand the property offers space and comfort for everyone! The owners were really welcoming and accommodating when we contacted them. We hope to return.
