We recently had an amazing stay at Weirglodd Hobbit House to celebrate my sons 10th birthday the week before, my husbands birthday that weekend, and even Mothers Day so it was a very special trip for us. It absolutely did not disappoint! The House The Hobbit House was exactly as wed hoped and looked even more incredible in person. At night, the lighting made it feel truly magical. The views over the vast open fields were so calming and peaceful, whether we were outside or admiring them through the beautiful circular windows it really added to that authentic Hobbit Lord of the Rings feel. Inside, everything was spotless, cosy, and thoughtfully laid out. The heated floors made a huge difference, especially in March, and having a bathroom attached to each room was incredibly convenient. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Outside Area The hot tub was huge, well maintained, and a real highlight. Watching Wales finally win a rugby match while relaxing in the tub is a memory well definitely remember! The outdoor kitchen was fantastic we ended up cooking most of our meals there as it was quicker and even better than the indoor oven. The outdoor seating was comfortable and cosy, especially with the added blankets, and the log fire was a wonderful touch given the chilly weather. Games Room & Family Time The boys had an amazing time playing pool, darts, and table football in the games room. It gave us a great opportunity to enjoy quality family time together, and the fact that it was just behind the house meant they could safely pop back and forth on their own. Hosts & Special Touches Huw and Jane were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They went above and beyond by bringing a lamb over for our boys to see, as they love animals and were especially excited about the newborns on the farm. The next day, they returned to give us the unforgettable experience of bottlefeeding a 4dayold lamb something the boys will remember forever. This truly was the highlight of our stay, and were so grateful for the effort they made to make our visit extra special. We had such a memorable and magical stay and would highly recommend the Hobbit House to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing getaway.

Just wow! I always go to places with a low expectation, as photos can often be deceiving, however this was an exception. The Weirglodd pod was absolutely stunning. We booked 3 nights as a family of four and wish wed booked longer. The pod itself is just immaculate. So clean, absolutely everything inside you need, we did a food shop on the way and was able to cook everything without any issue. Everything is high standard too even down to the cutlery, blankets on the sofas etc. It was freezing outside being February, but inside the pod was toasty warm with underfloor heating

Fabulous weekend with friends. The pods are cosy, homely and very well planned out with plenty of storage space. The outdoor area is very well positioned and equipped allowing you to enjoy the space in any kind of weather, we would definitely book again.

What a place! Welcomed upon arrival, stunning views in the middle of nowhere, loads of places to walk. The outside area is fab, the hot tub is large, you have all the amenities you need for a few days of relaxation in a stunning setting

We had an amazing stay in the Hobbit Hut! The scenery was stunning, and the interior was beautifully set up with everything we needed. It was so peaceful, private, and relaxingwe didnt see anyone else during our stay. The outdoor area was wonderful, and our whole family especially loved the hot tub. We really appreciated the great recommendations for local walks and restaurants, too. Wed definitely recommend this place and cant wait to come backboth the adults and kids had an incredible time!

We came with our two daughters for a half term break and we had an amazing time. The pod itself is amazing, I cant believe how much you manage to fit in such a small space without it feeling cramped! The bedrooms are comfy and the separate bathrooms are lovely. The view from the pod is just stunning and was breathtaking to wake up to every morning, especially with the sheep waiting by the fence. We made use of the hot tub every day, and it was great having a tv out there to keep the girls entertained Im sure in warmer times its even better it was a little too chilly for us to spend much time out there other than when in the hot tub but in the summer I bet wed spend most evenings out there. We went for some lovely walks around the area, and drove out a couple of times for days out and pub dinners which was fantastic too. None of us wanted to leave after our four nights and wed definitely go back in a heartbeat!

Amazing.Magical. Place! Should be your new what3words. Huw and Jane were great. Pod was awesome as were the outdoor facilities! Bed was really comfy, indoor temperature was always great. Cooking facilities and supplies were fab. We loved the hot tub and the outdoor cooking. Then fire on and sit back and enjoy the outdoor TV, oh and the views. For all this is a working farm with 3 pods onsite, we felt we had peace, quiet, and total privacy apart from the sheep which we didnt mind, and the lovely farm cat who came to visit a couple of times. Were already planning our next visit!! Thanks again Huw, Jane and family!!

We had a brilliant stay, the facilities in the pod were plentiful and it was very spacious. The outdoor area was a real hit, the set up is so good with everything under cover making this a great year round choice. We really enjoyed our evenings in the hot tub with the fire on. We'll definitely be returnin

We had a lovely break. Excellent facilities and under cover area with hot tub and log burner was brilliant. Lovely views and very private. Our hosts were always on hand if we needed them. Would highly recommend to family and friends. We would love to visit again. Thank you.

We had one of the best holidays in our lives. If you are looking for a peaceful escape from this civilisation, look no further. Cant wait to go back next year

Stayed with partner and Granddaughter for the second time, as good as the first visit. Can not fault the warm welcome and facilities. Enjoyed the stunning views along with the cows and sheep in the adjoining field. The spa was a welcome sight after a long day visiting the various sites within easy drive.

The property was exactly what we needed and provided a great break for the family. The walks in the local area and the location offered us the perfect location to have a day out or to completely relax in our surroundings. The hot tuboutdoor area is the perfect foil for the cosy pod and we spent most of our time I. The former! Everything from getting there to the amenities provided was second to none. The hosts were great. I cannot recommend enough! Will definitely return!

The accommodation had everything you need and was comfortable. The outside area was great in the evening. A great place to switch off, but also lots of places to visit within an hours drive.

What a beautiful place this is! We had a wonderful weekend for my wifes 40th birthday! If you are thinking of booking do it as you wont regret it! Such a peaceful place and the owners were so helpful We cant wait to be there again in the future! Steve

Just wow! Everything was as described, but even better! ! What 3 words got us straight there, so don't worry about finding the place. Weirglodd is stunning and has everything you could need, and Jane, Huw and their family are lovely too. Enjoying the outdoors was fantastic with the great outside space set up, the 'shed' as my grandson called it, was a huge hit. Didnt need to use the laundry, but the game's room was really cool for something extra to entertain our grandson with. I can't recommend staying here enough, for any age. We certainly have every intention of returning at some point.

Fantastic hideaway in the hills. Amazing views from the pod and the best view we'll ever have from a hot tub. Was booked as a relaxation break after gcse's for my daughter and it was everything we could have hoped for. Amazing.

When we arrived at our very remote pod literally in the middle of nowhere we were very happy. They provided the pod with everything we could possible need . Well equipped kitchen spacious too . We had 2 bedrooms and 2 shower rooms and a tv area to relax at night overall our cozy pod was outstanding and very clean and the beds were very comfortable and had a good night sleep every night . Now lets talk about outside ! Not only did we have a beautiful view of the Welsh valleys it was so peaceful and tranquil and we had a family of sheep to keep us company we loved that x . Relaxing in the hot tub and lighting our fire pit at night in a kitchen area were we cud relax with food and watch tv was a very special treat. There was also a games room to the back of us were we had a game of pool and darts and a laundry room if u needed it. I cannot fault anything about this . If you want a relaxing holiday this is the place to come . I will defo be returning Thankyou huw and Jane xx

Stayed 3 nights, and wow what a beautiful pod. Stunning hot tub views and lovely walks. The fire at night was just perfect. The cleanliness of the place was 1010 and the outdoor area very spacious, also inside. We will most definetly be going back this year.

Beautiful setting, quirky and very well designed pod with lots of home comforts! The outdoor area was amazing! Lots of private space outdoors, not at all overlooked. The only drawbacks were the low shower water pressure made showering tricky and the lack of curtainsblinds was a challenge when it came to settling children as it was springtime, meaning very late bed times and very early wake ups! This is something to consider if staying with little ones. Plus, even as an adult having a large circular window at the end of the bed with no privacy was a bit strange but I suspect the owners, who had wonderful attention to detail elsewhere, made this choice deliberately as unfortunately curtains would likely ruin the aesthetic of the windows. May I suggest tinted glass? Or inbuilt blinds? Still 55 in areas as the pod was so cool! And the outdoor space was just beautiful! Also, owners were lovely!!

One of the if not the best place ive stayed for pure peace! ! We had a lovely time the pods really are outstanding!! We will be booking again!!

The most amazing holiday. The pod was exceptional and the outdoor space was perfect. The hosts have thought of everything. We all had the most amazing relaxing holiday mainly spent bbqing in the outdoor area, in and out the hot tub and enjoying the peace and spectacular views from the pod!

Stayed for 3 nights in December just before Christmas and we didn't wanna leave such a beautiful spot. Owners were amazing just a text away if you need anything or need to ask them a question. Fell in love with the place. Definitely be back. Thank you.

We've just returned from an amazing stay at Weirglodd, what made it so amazing for us was the very well appointed covered outdoor gazebo with hot tub, fire cube , electric ninja bbq , fully equipped outdoor kitchen and outdoor TV. We've specifically started holidaying at cottages with hot tubs and this is the best hot tub set up we've experienced by far! Everything was thought of here for the outdoor area, such a lovely space for relaxing, outdoor cooking, hot tubing etc For the actual pod itself, it was equally well appointed with lush under floor heating, smart TV , plush bedrooms and great bathrooms. We also really enjoyed the games room with unlimited pool ! A special mention for our hosts Jane and Huw, very welcoming and equally helpful to our every request but equally respectfully of our privacy. Beautiful dogs too! All in all a great venue which we'll be returning to gladly and with a fab recommendation!

The property looked incredible on the pictures & by description, when we got there we found it surpassed our expectations. What an incredible setting, the owners were fantastic & so helpful. Every amenity was there, the shelter from the elements in the hot tubfire area was brilliant too. We will most definitely be back!.

We had a fantastic 3night stay at Weirglodd. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views and the cozy, clean atmosphere of the home. The house had everything we neededwellequipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings, and all the little touches that made our stay feel special. Mornings were perfect, sitting outside with a coffee, taking in the breathtaking scenery. The kids couldnt get enough of the massive hot tub, which was such a hit! Evenings were equally wonderfulafter a day of exploring, we relaxed next to the wood burner, watching a film and just enjoying the peaceful setting. The owners were fantasticso friendly, welcoming, and helpful with anything we needed. Their attention to detail really made a difference and made the stay feel even more special. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend this place!

Absolutely wonderful 2 night stay, we only wished wed booked for longer! The pod was immaculate, and had everything we needed for our family of 4. The detail and thought put into it did not go unnoticed the quality of the kitchen utensils, bedding, blankets etc. just made it all the more special. 2 relaxing days spent cooking, enjoying the outdoors and spending time together as a family without the need to spends lots of money. Really special place.

If you are looking for a peaceful quirky break in the countryside this is the place to be and is by far the most stunning place we have ever stayed. for our first visit to wales its been truly wonderful and exceeded all our expectations. Living in a busy town with busy roads this has been so peaceful and a little surreal for us. The views are breathtaking, We enjoyed the hot tub at night then chilling by the log fire watching Halloween movies. stargazing at night was a beautiful sight also. We absolutely loved coming here. The pod was so clean and a lot bigger than we thought from the pictures and there is so much storage space! Literally, everything has been thought of, the kitchen is fully stocked with cooking equipment, utensils, and crockery. Despite being on a working farm, the pods are so quiet, we didn't hear any outside noise whatsoever and it's such a calming place. Hot tub is really good size bonus of inbuilt speakers too! The hot tub coveredover area is really great too with the Ninja BBQ, fire and TV signal reception, streaming services and wifi were great, was lovely to sit down there on an evening, the skies were so clear we got to see the Northern lights a strong flare occurred so not common and meteor shower! The place is around 34 miles down a single track but there were never any other cars so despite feeling nervous it was never an issue. It is a great location for activities and is set in a lovely forest. I would highly recommend this place and visit again, fantastic value for money our threeyearold loved the animals the pod is sat in a sheep field and exploring The owner kindly greeted us when we arrived but left us to it afterward, the added touch of Welsh cakes and Prosecco was so nice, thank you. Definitely use the what three words to locate!

A stunning, peaceful location, the pod was amazing with the owners thinking of everything. The children loved the games room and the hot tub as well as there being plenty of room to play the outdoor games we took. The outside area was as nice as the pod with an outdoor tv to be able to watch while eating dinner or being in the hot tub.

The owners have created something very special at Weirglodd Pod and we feel really lucky to have stayed there. It's really well equipped and spotlessly clean. There are stunning views and with the outside covered space with hot tub, log burner, kitchen and electric BBQ grill and even a TV and sound system, you can enjoy outdoor living whatever the weather. There are 3 pods but each has its own little field so feels very private. The games room was an added bonus. There is plenty to do in the area and lovely forest walks from the doorstep. The owners are very helpful and friendly. We hope to return sometime!

The property was excellent with the facilities as described. The owners were friendly and could not do enough to make the stay enjoyable. The location is next to working farm but was very quiet. The Granddaughter loved being a Hobbit for the week and being able to stand on top of the Hobbit House.

We had a lovely weekend staying at Weirglodd, the pod had everything we needed, Jane and Huw have done a fantastic job creating the most idyllic setting, the hot tub and outdoor kitchen made our weekend and the kids loved the outdoor space. We came as a group of four friends. The pod was everything anyone could ask for fabulously quirky accommodation. Exceptionally clean, very comfortable beds, waking up in the morning to see the most amazing views through circular windows was absolutely fantastic. The pod is totally private with no other pod in sight. The gazebo was something else, especially with the lights on in the evening with a huge hot tub with Bluetooth, outside kitchen with log burner and plenty of logs. Watching television and looking up at the stars was a surreal experience. We spent most of our time in the outside area and was a magical experience. We have stayed in many properties and we all agree that this is our favourite and will definite come again.
