Afallon Cottage Reviews

The cottage is in a good location, we didnt use the car for the first two days of our holiday, lots to do locally, our dog Dylan loved the walk down the riverside to Rhyl, it is also well equipped and comfortable shame its only small double bed and its very clean, would have no hesitation recommending it to family and friends.
Gillian
Tastefully decorated, modern, clean and very cosy cottage. Welcome goodies appreciated. Wifi wasn't brilliant, may benefit boosters. Ideal location to visit North Wales. Bonus off road parking, we found it was easier to reverse in, rather than drive in and try to turn. A couple of times next door parked over drive, however this wasnt an issue as moved when knocked. Would benefit with information on the recyclinggeneral waste days, bins nearly full when we got there and we missed the recycling collection so full when we left. Overall enjoyed our stay, thank you.
Clean and tidy cottage, nicely decorated, so convenient for amenities. Loved the castle, great local walks and waterfall.
Catherine
Lovely cottage modern and clean. Large kitchen with extra toilet downstairs. The wifi needs updating. Hit and miss. Wifi most important these days. Otherwise had a fantastic stay. Thank you for the milk and snacks.

Philip
Very smart, clean and comfortable. 2 minutes from pubs, reataurants and shop. Great location for exploring North Wales. Loved the castle.
Stephen
Lovely cottage everything you need for a comfortable relaxing stay nice touch with a welcoming pack and Milk. Had slight issues with WiFi not connecting all week but did not deter from our overall stay also next door neighbour repeatedly blocks the driveway although we did not need to go out in car and mainly used the excellent bus service it could affect anybody who likes to drive out for days out overall though had a nice stay
Christine
Absolutely lovely cottage, 2nd time visiting and we will be back for sure. Always supply a very generous welcome pack thankyou. Great area for visiting north wales and lovely village. The dog always sulks when we leave
Lovely cottage. Well equipped. Perfect location for visiting north wales. Its close to pubs, shops and takeaways. We would definitely stay here again. The only thing that I found slightly annoying was, whoevers in the property on Friday bin day put the binsrecycling out. All the recycling boxes were quite full when we arrived. They should have been emptied that day, so whoever went in after us would have struggling for recycling space.
Lovely cottage. Very clean. Has everything you need. Warm and comfortable. Tastefully decorated. Nice big telly. Close to Sainsburys and Tesco. Have booked another 4 days.
Natasha
We stayed here for a few weeks while some work was being done on our house. The owners are so helpful and friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The cottage is beautifully decorated and to a very high standard and has everything you could possibly need. Perfect location with plenty nearby of takeaways, and places to eat and drink within walking distance. 1010 stay.
Lovely cozy cottage, spotlessly clean, well equipped, welcome pack much appreciated. Cottage is ideally situated close to pubs, castle , takeaways , bus stops and local walks would definitely recommend.
Gillian
Lovely, comfortable cottage with very welcome extras provided refreshments and shower items. Good position to access local area llandudno, Rhyll etc. Would recommend
Very well decorated, but very small.
Elaine
Excellent place to stay.
Kathryn
The Cottage was everything it said on the tin. Really lovely and clean. Loved the kitchen so spacious and had everything you needed. Couldnt fault the Cottage the location husband said we will definatley come back.
Michelle
We had a wonderful break in the cottage. It was immaculately clean and the owners had left a welcome pack of goodies which included a pint of milk in the fridge such a thoughtful touch. It is decorated to a high standard and the attention to detail is second to none. There is a small patio to the rear ideal for sitting in the sunshine with a cup of coffee and is secure for your pet. The kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils you would need perhaps just lacking a pyrex or other oven proof dish however there are plenty of pots, pans and trays though which was excellent. I knocked one star off for comfort, simply because I found the bed too firm. This is just a personal preference. All in all, I would absolutely recommend Afallon cottage as it is a beautiful cottage in a super location close to the coast for those with a car.
A beautiful cottage in a beautiful friendly village. The cottage was of a very high standard and we will definitely be booking again. if you are looking for a home from home this is the place to book
A gorgeous clean and well equipped cottage, finished to a very high standard. Great location and excellent to have your own private parking. Hosts were very helpful and I will definitely be booking here again. All in all, a really great find, the cottage and hosts are first class. Thank you.
Christine
Absolutely loved our stay here. The property is very cosy and renovated to very high standard. The enclosed back yard was ideal for the dog and the parking a massive bonus. An absolute gem in a lovely village. Cant wait to return, thankyou for letting us stay at the last minute. Oh and the wellcome tray was lovely thankyou.
Stefan
This was a lovely comfortable cottage in a lovely village with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The connections are also good to see the best of North Wales.
Elizabeth
Your property facilities said there was a dishwasher, which there isn't. Off road parking can be difficult to turn a car around when the neighbours car is there, on road parking can also be difficult as there are lots of cars parked on the road. Accommodation was lovely, comfortable and in centre of the small town. We had been given some lovely welcome nibblesmilk by our host.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Everything seemed new and was of better quality than expected and I'd be happy to book the same property again.
Beautiful cottage very comfortable, very clean. Great village too stay in. Some lovely pubs to visit
Terrence
What a great cottage to stay in, immaculate, very well situated to either walk or going out touring. The owners have done a superb job with the cottage and should be proud of the result and attention of detail. Will be returning soon.
Katrina
A very nice cottage for 2 people. A very comfortable bed, with an suite good to have a toilet facilities downstairs as well. Off street parking an advantage. A good area for touring North Wales. One down side is the description on Sykes Cottages is not correct it says a dishwasher however there was no dishwasher. Not to be put off by this as the cottage has a modern interior with lovely furnishings and decor around the cottage. We recommend it.
