Ardwyn Bach Reviews

Michael
Thank you for a wonderful stay. It really is home from home, not only for us but for our dog too! The kitchen is better equipped than my kitchen at home, so many things provided including all soap, etc, and dog towels! What a beautiful little town, we walked to the butchers daily to get provisions for our breakfast and also made for too many trips to the bakery. Plenty of places to eat and the town has 3 electric car chargers, one a few minutes walk away, we had 2 large cars so the parking permit was useful for the local car park. Thank you for thinking of everything a family (and dog) would need for an easy holiday, we would love to return.

In September, we had the pleasure of renting a charming house in Wales, basking in a glorious week of sunshine! The house boasts a delightful and quirky ambiance, characterized by its many small rooms, winding corridors, and quaint staircases. Each of the three bedrooms is equipped with its own shower and toilet, with two also featuring a luxurious bath. The beds were very comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. While the kitchen is a bit on the snug side, it is impressively well-equipped with everything needed for a delightful stay. The sitting room, with its expansive window, offers a direct view of the street, where we occasionally spotted curious passersby peeking in. Parking is located on a different street, and although it was initially a bit tricky to locate, we quickly found it to be quite convenient.

Ardwyn Bach was the nicest cottage we have ever stayed in. It felt like we were staying in a boutique hotel but with all the home comforts too. We are planning our next stay already.
Vicki
We had a wonderful stay, the cottage was really well equipped and had everything we needed. The rooms upstairs are all spacious each having there own bathrooms. The property is really well positioned, right in the centre of Ruthin with a short walk to shops, pubs as well as the castle. Some great walks nearby as well. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would look to return.
Dawn
What an absolutely beautiful cottage! And Clare, the owner, was so accommodating and friendly. The cottage is so well equipped with 3 amazing bedrooms, lovely large bathrooms and the kitchen and utility room had everything you could possibly need. The shared garden is such a delight and our dog enjoyed meeting the owner's dog, Maisie. Ruthin is a stunning little town and the locals are so friendly. Will definitely return again.
Joanne
We were super impressed with this wonderful cottage and highly recommend it to other guests. It was warm, cosy, well equipped, stylish and everything has been thought of, The cottage has a luxury feel to it and the furnishings, linen and towels are sumptuous and of a high quality. We all slept wonderfully and enjoyed the convenience of everything that is on the doorstep to the butchers, to the pubs and restauarants, to the dog walks and shops. Appreciated the owners recommendations and the welcome pack was a kind ( and tasty!) touch. The garden is beautiful and for it to be safely secure for our dog to use was fab. It was clean and well presented for our arrival. We were cosy inside in November and can imagine that the outside space would be amazing in the warmer months. Thank you to the host for sharing her wonderful property. We hope to return!
Jane
Ideally located in the centre of the town. Rhuthin is a good place to stay as a base to explore many areas of interest in North Wales.
Sue
A Wonderful cottage thatâ??s very well equipped, and in a terrific location. We rattled around a bit as we were only two people but I would think if you were a family it would be fantastic. Parking was easy and private. The owner was available if needed but kept herself to herself. Wetherspoons very handy for cheap and cheerful breakfast.
Maddie
Ardwyn Bach is a lovely property and well appointed to an extremely high standard, very spacious bedrooms, clean, well equipped kitchen and has everything you could possibly need. Set in a prefect peaceful setting with a beautiful garden to relax in. The owner who lives next door could not have been more friendly and welcoming. We also had a lovely welcome pack on arrival. The location of the house is central so pub, bakery and shops are all within walking distance, and with good access to roads. If we holiday in North Wales again, we would definitely book Ardwyn Bach again. Thank you, we had a lovely stay.
